ok. it was the batteries. got my replacement gear today and the charger seems to work fine.... but however the new charger does nothing to the old batteries. atomizers ok, charger ok. problem solved.

May have missed it, but did you also clean the charger? Cotton swab and alcohol. Also, I was told there were issues with the charger elbow adapters and that's why the switch to cords. May be just the adapter and not the whole charger.

ETA Sorry just read the battery part. Ah well, keep for mod parts.

Actually in a bad turn of events batteries started failing again. Lasting about only an hour on a full charge. New charger not working so I'm reallyconfussed now .
