I have been vaping all day and want to give my thoughts about that The Chuck. I have purchased a few of the mods available and found the Prodigy to be my fav until I got The Chuck.. Reason I prefer The Chuck over the Prodigy.

The end cap on The Chuck is easy to take on and off and is made much better than the Prodigy end cap (IMO) the spring on the Prodigy kept coming off needing repair ( a big hassle ) the end cap on the Prodigy is smooth and thin (no grip). The end cap on The Chuck has groves and unscrews easy on and off. End cap on The chuck has the spring threaded in to stay secure.. Looks like the spring horror I had with the Prodigy is over.

I have the 901 6V Chuck the adaptor cap is deep and holds overflow that can be cleaned easy by taking atty off and wiping with a cloth.. the prodigy needed a tool to clean in the grooves as it was a tight fit between connection and reservoir.

Batteries I have tried on The chuck
1 TrustFire 18650 3.7V - Vapor is Awesome! Flavor is sharp and atty stays reasonably cool chuck is running at 3.7V

2 Trenergy 750mah RCR123A 3.0V Vapor is Awesome! Flavor is sharp atty runs hotter chuck is running at 6V (I use Drew's HV juice with the 6V so there is no burnt taste)

Not sure about battery life yet but I have been running at 6V since I got it and batteries are still going strong so far 9 hours and that's heavy vaping.

I have added the rolled up computer paper into the tube to make for a tighter fit on the battery's, I saw a post on this in the forum somewhere and it works really well.

The Price of The Chuck is outstanding! $80.00 shipped! and for total quality unsurpassed by any other mod I have ever tried.

The Personalization is the "MOST AWESOME" of The Chuck! I asked Jeff for a pink Breast Cancer Chuck and I got Exactly what I asked for.. it feels so natural in my hand. Even though it is a bit bigger than the Prodigy I have been using for a few months I haven't noticed the difference. The Chuck has a little more weight to it but there again not so much I notice a difference when toting it around.. I have showed it off and am getting lots of AWWS where did you get that? (Look for some orders Jeff :) I am proud of my new Chuck.. Its Beautiful, Durable and with Personalization ...My new Chuck is ME :) This review is IMO!

Hi....are you sure the chuck is a 3.7/5v device?.....from what I have read I think it is a 3.7/6v device.

Another question...what will happen when the switch fails on the Chuck. Can it be easily replaced or do you have to send it to the manufacturer?

The switch is very high quality. In the unlikely event it does fail, the unit does come with a 1 year warranty, but unless you can solder, yes, you would need to send it back to Jeff to have it replaced. His turn around time is very fast.

These units are NOT like the prodigy with the failing switches mind you...

I don't think it has a resistor on it giving it the 6V but with Drews High Voltage juice you don't loose any flavor it is very hard for me to tell the difference between the 5V and 6V because of it. I don't think it has failing parts to worry about.. The Chuck is solid made I do feel it is the best choice for the money.

Update: I have been using The Chuck for a few day now. (2) I have found using 1 TrustFire 18650 3.7V battery is the best choice for me..

the battery has lasted me all day, I changed from the 6V to the 3.7 last night still going strong. I am very happy with the performance of The Chuck although Im not to happy with the switch, IMO it is to small for my liking (The Prodigy's switch is much wider (rounder) and more comfortable to press). Although for the price I still feel it is a excellent deal and I plan to purchase another one once I make up my mind what color and what I want on it :)

I think you can use both CR123a, 16340 I used 18650 and CR123a one will give me 6V and put the other in it give you 3.7 I think in the thread he said he could make it use others. He makes it to your specs all the way down to the color and design check out the thread and just send him a private message Im sure he will oblige you :) ohh and I have the Chuck not the little Chuck

Are there any videos of the chuck in action? there are a couple things i dont quite understand about it.

I am guessing it is not rechargable, you put like duracells in it or something?

Does it have a tiny atomizer on the end like the prodigy or any other mods. (basically does it have its own atomizers or can you use 510's?)

anyways I am a visual person so I think a vid would be best if you know any.

I am interested in the chuck

the chuck is just a battery mod (same with prodigy and other mods for that matter) and doesn't have a built in attomizer. it is basically a battery case with a atty port on the end and if i'm not mistake it takes 901 and 510 attys. you buy rechargeable li-ion bats (get the protected ones just to eliminate the slight posibility of explosion). they are kind of like duracells, but in this case much larger. the random numbers that the original poster mentioned in the review at (3.7 V and 6 V) are the battery numbers, you can google them and see what they look like. i believe if you run it at 6V you need TWO of those batteries that were mentioned. Batteries shouldn't cost you more than 7 bucks each, and should last for at least 10 months if my math is right. As far as discharge time goes, reading the chuck thread on this forum i've seen people getting about two days of constant heavy vaping before needing a recharge.

hope the info helps! i'm definately buying one of these soon
