Shelf Life of e-lliquid

Do you have any information on the shelf-life of e-liquid? I'm interested in knowing if I purchase a large quantity does it have a very long life before it looses it's potency.

The manufacturers claim that shelf life is 2 years. Must be kept in a cool dark dry place. I have heard of juice going bad by storing it in a regular frig after 3 months. Needless to say, I no longer store mine in the frig! If I am remembering correctly it was Sun who made that post? A closed cabinet or box should be fine. I have had some juice for 6 months and it is still fine.
