rsst ate my evic :-(

Another story about stripped 510 threads (i see them on here a lot)
I put a brand new rsst rba on my evic to check the res and all seemed fine just a little slow to turn but when i went back to my protank 2 it wouldnt stay on. Checked.with a few other 510s cartos and whatnot all just dropped past to.the connector . Turns out the post n the rsst is just a little bigger than it should be. And i dented the top of the 18650 flat top battery withthe center post since i could not.feel it make contact. Any advice on how to fix either issue would be good. Im back to putting my protank on an ego twist and that always feels wrong to me

Either contact joyetech to see if it can be repaired under warranty. Also check this thread it might need the center pin lifted back up like an ego battery.

Thanks. Now i can get the pin up, now.just totry and build the threads back up. Im thinking silver solder. If i cant get warranty. Didnt even know that joye did that.
