I have had this happen twice now... 2 different atomizers. a genesis and an iGo W - new.
i have way too many Gen's and a half dozen drippers; iGo L's, a Forge clone (3 posts), and a few silica tanks atomizers...
and i can wrap and set up a pretty mean coil/wick.
I do look to see the pos. bottom post is out at least 1mm to make contact.
So i set it up and go to read the ohms, and get real high readouts, fluctuating...
today i set up my new style iGo W, 3 posts... 3/4 wraps of 30g kanthal on ekowool for each. i'm expecting about .6 ohms...
These have a solid pos botton contact that's at least 1mm out of the 510 threads....
heck i have a few K100's ($25) so i put the iGo W on one and it vapes.... not bad, but not firing or heating like a .6 ohms coil would.
Same thing happened with a Gen atomizer i have (hate to say it but its a Wand Ti).... I had just taken it apart to replace the poly tank, cleaned it and re-set everything...
any comments?
