OT: Anyone going to SXSW?

Any music fans venturing down to Austin, TX for South By Southwest 2010?
There might be some Austin residents here so sorry in advance for what is about to fall on your city!

I'm a HUGE music fan, but sadly enough I've never made it to SXSW.

I'm gonna try to make it out to SXSW this year. I played a few showcases about 4-5 years ago and a few of my friends will be there with their bands.

a half a dozen of the sales guys at my company go to SxSW every year (and a dozen other events) But I' just a programmer, so I never get to go

We play every year. I love Austin, it's one of my favorite cities to visit. If I didn't have so many obligations in Chicago, I'd move there in a heartbeat. SXSW is such a great time, I can't wait to get there!

STP!!!!!!!!!!!! HERE I dont come.... girlfriend HAS to see Firggie that night.. im so bummed. went last year.. what a BLAST! still remember my JAR of long islands! hurt the next morning.

I only wish all you SXSW fans could see what the city is like when we're not completely overrun with traffic and people.


My wife and I are doing what we do every year to prepare... going out to eat all this week to all our favorite places since we know everything will be packed as of next week.
