«A new study was published today in Journal of Chromatography A. The study was performed by the Spanish Council of Scientific Research. They measured the levels of several volatile organic compounds (VOC, they measured 156 compounds) in indoor air, normal exhaled breath, smoke of tobacco cigarettes, exhaled breath of smokers after taking cigarette puffs, e-cigarette aerosol and exhaled breath of vapers after taking e-cigarette puffs.»

New study proves there is no second-hand vaping: e-cigarette aerosol contains less volatile compounds than normal exhaled breath

"According to the large body of research available, the levels
of formaldehyde to which most people are exposed are not
high enough to cause adverse health effects. The World
Health Organization (WHO) considers the carcinogenic risk of
formaldehyde, when estimated from animal data, to be uncertain.

This is due to the chemical’s nonlinear dose response curve,
showing a disproportionately low risk at low concentrations.
Further, WHO reports that humans produce formaldehyde in
their bodies and exhale it at concentrations of up to a few parts
per billion (ppb). The IRIS-proposed cancer risk value of
0.008 ppb would set a cancer risk value that is significantly
below the levels that naturally occur in the environment (see
Figure 1). EPA’s proposed cancer risk value would suggest that
human breath poses an unacceptable risk of cancer."

This is analogous to a fascist system where any minor 'crime' - spitting in the street, not wearing your yellow "Jude" badge, if you're Jewish, etc. etc. can be 'prosecuted' (against one's enemies) or 'overlooked' (when done by 'friends') .... where junk science can make anything "harmful" and therefore under the auspices of gov't, where it can be acted upon, rather than ignored as 'part of living life'.
