my review of Puresmoker's Penstyle thanks Steve!

Hey I was extremely surprised at Steve's fast shipping to NYC. I ordered on the wednesday rush... and received my penstyle with a second atomizer and USB-passthrough.

Now I was new to e-cigs, but I have the njoy and the totally-wicked super-mini. I personally liked the totally-wicked super-min over njoys NPRO (they were basically the same product). So I thought I'd give the penstyle a try.

Before wednesday PureSmoker was out of penstyles(and pretty much everything). so I ordered the rio from vapernine. The vapor from that penstyle was pretty weak compared to my super-mini's. So I thought I'd give puresmokers penstyle a try. I just recieved mine on friday... amazing 2 day shipping pretty much. The penstyle seemed to have the exact physical appearance of vapornines although with a brighter L.E.D.

Although the vapor from it was totally different. Right from the start Puresmokers vapor was much stronger with more mass than VaporNine, totally-wicked, and njoy. Also with the USB-passthrough... the vapor feels almost endless. I'm extremely glad I ordered from Steve, even though these two penstyle look the same. Puresmokers penstyle is much more superior than vapornines. I also ordered the Bada-Bing... so I'm hoping that it brings the satisfaction of the penstyle.

Thank you Puresmoker and Steve, I hope that the trip to TN goes well and you can guarentee me as a future costumer, as long as you still mantain the superb service.

I actually started out with a penstyle from Steve (mid Dec.) and still going strong with it. I also have the passthrough and APC battery pack. These are definitely the "work horse" of e-cigs.

I'm conteplating my second device and having trouble deciding because (1) it would have to beat my penstyle in output and durability. (2) I'm spoiled by the passthrough and battery pack, and whatever I choose would have to have a passthrough also.

Steve and Puresmoker are unbeatable!

The key to a successful e-cig experience is the atomizer. The atomizers Steve sells from Puresmoker.com are terrific. It is significantly better than the atomizers on my Kissbox and NJOY NCIG pen-style devices. If he had a volume discount, I would order at least six of them. With my four batteries and two USB Pass-throughs, I could run six pen-styles at any one time.

That's very encouraging. I have had my mini's for 5 days and seems like I'm swaping out batteries a lOT. I ordered a penstyle too...glad to know they hold up, can't wait until it gets here!

I was going to review my penstyle here as well, but I think my first battery might not be working, or maybe didn't take the 12 hr charge or something. I got the led to light up once and got no vapor with a new high cart on it. That was after sucking and sucking and sucking. I got my other battery charging right now and hopefully this sucker will kick ing. If not, at least I got my Bada Bing, which is looking to be my favorite anyways.

ok, I popped in the 2nd battery and the same thing. I'll try my spare atomizer tomorrow, I'm to tired tonight. This one looks like it MIGHT be going back. I don't know, maybe it's just me.

I'm sorry to hear your complications Figurehead. I hope an atomizer change does the trick.. I actually also think Steve's battery has something to do with the great vapors. I swapped them between vapornines and steves. The USB-Passthroughs are a must buy. The best penstyle I have. It feels like a new battery charge after each smoke.

ShimmyPrincess I know exactly what your talking about. I change the penstyle batteries like 3-4 times less than the mini's. Although the USB-Passthrough is the best in my opinion. Thank goodness steve still had some PeeWee usb-passthroughs I'd love to use them on my NPRO and SuperMini.

I recently got an 801 penstyle after reading about its superiority. It produces lots of vapor, but the draw is very light and there is no throat hit. I am thinking of selling it. Comparing it to the Dura, it is simply not satisfying. What could cause the lack of throat hit in this unit? Is it the cartridge, the atomizer, or something else? If I order another atomizer, do you believe that could solve the problem?

I liked my penstyle with the USB from Puresmoker so much I sold my Janty Kissbox. If you are thinking about something different, the 901 with the USB from Puresmoker is a workhorse as well. I like having both so I can get replacement parts like atomizers for one if Steve is out of the other.

I have to agree, PS penstyle is a workhorse. I have had it for over a week now, long lasting batteries and the vapor is great. The 901 from PS is also good, I use that when out of the house. Both have preformed great from day one (knock on wood)!

OK, how do I do this? I know you are in the middle of a move... do I just hold onto it for now and after them move send it back? I'm lost. I don't know if both batteries aren't taking a charge, or if both atomizers are shot, or all of the above. I got very little vapor with a brand new cart and 12 hour charged batteries. Tried both atomizers as well. I have everything all nice and put back in the box ready to go. Just let me know what I need to do. You guys rock.

Sorry about your items Figurehead. My first PV is a Penstyle from Steve and I have been very satisfied with it. It has been almost a week now and I noticed that the atomiser is performing at its best. I know I'll be in a different level once I get my USB passthrough!

I once considered getting a Janty Kissbox, just to have it, but I have been so satisfied with this Pen. I love the plain black look.. very simple. I carry it EVERYWHERE.

Hold on to it for us for about a week and then shoot me a PM and we can take care of it.

In the mean time, we can try and test a couple things. Also, puffing on the pen is a lot different than the bada-bing. You have to take very slow and deep inhales for the best results.

Grab the pen, pull the cartridge, drip 2 drops of liquid directly on the atomizer and let me know how it goes. Assuming you have 2 bad atomizers and 2 bad batteries is a stretch, thus, i'm thinking it might be user error

Steve's penstyle's are RN4072 and not 801. I was told they run a little hotter which could be why you are not getting the throat hit you like if you have a true 801. I just starting using my penstyle from Steve today. For some reason, I notice more throat hit and just a better feel with the battery than with the passthrough. The vapor seems about the same but not the hit. I would think it would be the opposite. I don't really understand that.

I brought it with me to work today and am going to try it out again on my breaks. I would really like for it to work because then I have my 901s, my pen, and my Bada Bing and will hopefully never be in a jam where I don't have one of them working.

nothing. I actualy got a tiny bit of vapor from one atomizer, but the batteries were very hard to pull from and I couldn't keep an led lit up on either of them for more than a second.

I'll recharge them and try again tomorrow.
