Mixing 10% 48mg nic into 90%pg nic base

first of all im making a recipe and i have 100%pg nic bran new bottle. and im doing the calculator rout for mixing and it ended up saying error negative pg value error. thats with the end result wanting to be 50/50 pg/vg liquid. so i have to take the % down to like 56/44 pg/vg in order for the negative value to go away. in the calculator app.
but i was thinking if i add 10% straight vg nic base to my 100% pg nic base (as i have a small bit of vg nic base left) giving me a 90/10 nic base at 48 mg. I think that would take care of my problem. and i hope it would let me to m ix somthing more like 65/35 pg/vg end result. without getting that negative pg value error...... man i tried to make this question as easy to read as i could and it still sounds insane. if anyone understand my question and thinks this would fix it. let me know lol. thanks

Let's start with what app/program/calculator you're using.

This is confusing. LOL. First of all what is your nicotine % goal? What App/calculator are you using?

You realize if you mix 100%. Nic VG with 100% PG that is still 100% nicotine, right? You do plan on mixing or cutting that on down with pg or vg to a vapable level?

e juice me up... and my end goal is 18%. both my nic base's are 48mg and flavors are pg

Ok... So, do you have PG or VG that contains no nicotine to get to 18%? It may seem like a silly question if you do, but I have to ask.

i have zero nic pg and vg. and 48 mg pg and like 15 ml of vg nic

its just frustrating. before i was using the vg nic. and i could make 65/35 vg to pg mix juice and never get a error. but now im using pg nic and i cant get over 54/46

Ok. It's simple to get to 50/50 when using 100% of each base. You just add half of each and you end up with 100% nic 50/50 vg/pg mix. Then you can cut it on down with a no nic base.

ya thats what i was sayin if i add like 15% vg nic to the big bottle of pg nic base giving me 85/15 pg/vg nic base. i think by doing that it will make mixing easyer without giving me that error saying i cant add negative amounts of pg to the mix

Ok... I'm confused because in your first post you stated your goal as 50/50.

It is but that's only because that's the lowest pg percentage I can do without getting a error saying I can't use negative values. It would end up being... Add -. 19 if pg to the mix

How is your flavor 90% PG and 10% VG? (cantalope)
You are asking for a higher result in VG than is possible with 100% PG nic and PG flavors. You will have to get VG nic or go with a lower VG ratio as end result.

I think this issue isn't an error but is due to most flavors having pg in them. Thus when it calculates the pg in the flavors its causing a negative number. You need to adjust taking into account the pg ratio of your flavors.
