HB 2103 has been introduced in the Missouri House of Representatives, and, among other things, it would provide state-wide protection for vaping by prohibiting local governments from banning the use of e-cigarettes in public places. This would allow private property owners to decide what to allow on their premises, not the government.

This is a rare opportunity. Typically, we're busy fighting against some bone-headed legislation, but this time we have the chance to get behind something positive. (And in case anyone is wondering, this actually does have a good shot at not only making it out of committee, but also passing the House and Senate, both of which are Republican controlled.)
