Ladies, the Decorah Eagle's nest eaglets have hatched!

they're asleep now....

sleeping happily under mom (or dad) and dreaming eaglet dreams

One is in the "hay" in front of parent

ooh- i did see that one- thought it was just stuff in the nest. some eaglet watcher i am

they ARE getting big!

all alone in the nest ATM, waiting for breakfast

(and i just watched an eaglet poop... )

it certainly does fly..right off the edge of that huge nest

I love watching these guys. Love that momma fusses at daddy when he brings food. The Savannahs are enjoying this as well. Have to keep it open all the time. Sasha is on my desk now waiting for me to fire up the page.
