Is Extended Warranty Necessary??

What are you veteran ProVari users opinions on the $24 Extended Warranty offer? Is this something that may be worthwhile?
Has anyone needed repairs outside of the original warranty? If so, what were the costs?

I should have asked before I ordered mine. I paid for the extra warranty. Probably overkill, but I'm super-cautious that way...

For about $2 a month for the extra year I thought it was worth it.

I did a fair amount of reading prior to buying mine of what few issues that Provari owners were reporting on the Provari forum here and the Provape one. Many of the issues were handled via email or phone support. That and the excellent reputation for attention to detail and almost nonexistant problems requiring on-site repair, I decided to forego the extended warranty and put the money on a chrome extender cap instead. It appears the chrome is no longer available and may never be again, so I feel somewhat fortunate that is the route I took, as I prefer it to the carokote colored one that I also got.

Fell the same way as Baditude. I've read enough that I'm confident I really didn't need the extra warranty. Everytime I've done that in the past, it's always been a waste of money.

I got the extended warranty. Maybe I will never need it but I spent $200.00 on the provari and for only an extra $24.00 I figured it would be a good idea. I always say, better to be safe than sorry.

Look at it this way, would you rather buy the warranty and not need it or not buy it and need it?

I would be interested in those who have had issues, out of warranty, and costs.

FWIW ,I'm another that opted to forgo buying the ext. warranty. It is really something only you can decide .For me the deciding factor was reading time and again how reasonably priced out of warranty repairs were.

I havent had any issues with mine at all but some prefer the extra security.
