Improve Throat Hit with O nic?

I have been trying to get down to 0 nic with my e-liquid for some time, but I seem to keep going back to 12+ MG because I just *need* a throat hit when I vape. Of the no nic juices I've tried, none seem to provide much of a throat hit. I have heard of types of liquids you can add to your juice to improve the TH, but am unsure of how well they perform. Has anyone actually tried this and are they successful in recreating the TH that nic provides?

Not that I am an expert in any way...

But I have added a little bit (.1-.2ml in a 1.7ml in 1.7ml carto) of cinnimon or menthol to flavors that I find lack a throat hit. It works for the most part, but it can really mess up the flavors of some things.
In others you don't even taste it, you just get a little "kick". Hope that helps.
