i normally use 8-12 mg juice. the TH is not all that strong, but i dont like the idea of increasing the nic just to get a better TH. and high nic is not really a TH to me, more like throat irritation. i tried 24mg and it was too much. i like the full, lung/chest hit. if i added pga would that be more of the high nic hit or the full type of hit? can 100 proof vodka be used instead? and generally how much is needed for 10ml of juice?

Generally speaking 10% PGA in a mix is considered the high end. (1ml PGA + 9ml juice)
The only way to tell if it works for you is to try it. Mix small, start low and work up from there.
PGA in juice does not give me any additional TH, but others have reported that it does. (Maybe because I prefer bourbon straight is the reason I don't notice it? Don't know.)
