So, for those following along with the development of the Hoosier Vapers club, I wanted to bounce this around for feedback. (and if you are reading this and haven't joined Hoosier Vapers yet, what are you waiting for, go register here Hoosier Vapers - Vaping along the crossroads of America )

To be a club, and not bounce off the walls unorganized and not get anywhere, we need a mission. What are we doing here? What is our goal with this club? I wrote this up and it is very rough. Please feel free to make suggestions, edit it, ..... about it, whatever.

Preface:
Hoosier Vapers was founded by Hoosiers, for Hoosiers, simply out of a love of vaping and the need to spread the truth about e-cigarettes, tobacco harm reduction, and vaping culture. We are a non-profit, non-vendor, social organization with no dues or fees for membership. All we ask is that you share your love for vaping with other Hoosiers.

Mission Statement:
Serve as a single centralized platform for all Indiana-based vapers and vendors to organize as a community and work together to promote tobacco harm reduction as a method to reduce smoking related death and disease using e-cigarettes, by sharing information with others; attending, promoting, or sponsoring public vaping events; participating in the local and state legislative processes where vaping or tobacco harm redcuction methods are hindered; and creating an environment where vapers, smokers, and non-smokers can communicate effectively about tobacco harm reduction and e-cigarettes.

By-laws:

  1. All members must have a connection to Indiana such that you are proud to call yourself a Hoosier.
  2. Any event promoted or sponsored by Hoosier Vapers must be held in Indiana.
  3. All proceeds from Hoosier Vapers events must be used to support the mission statement.
  4. Any profits resulting from Hoosier Vapers event proceeds must be donated to CASAA.
  5. Vendors can promote any public event related to e-cigarettes through Hoosier Vapers online channels. Product or sales promotion is restricted to public events.

I'm surely missing something or F'd it up somewhere, so get your :2c: into how this club is formed.
