The Hoosier Vapers Club needs you!
We are attempting to get the word out about e-cigs, reveal the studies on tobacco harm reduction to a wider audience, support CASAA, and put on fun vape meets all around the state. Its not hard work, but it does take time. There are less than a handful of us that are doing all this at the moment. We do it because we are happy we discovered vaping and want to do something for others. We do it for Hoosiers.
We have thoughts on putting on a large vape meet up, but as the involved membership stands now we struggle to do what we do now and a large vape meet up is not possible. We just do not have enough members who are willing to devote some time to such things. This is why this missive was undertaken.
We are looking for council members. Folks who can donate a couple hours a week by attending a conference call for an hour and doing some homework between our meetings. (The conference call is our meeting. We also have a web meeting so we can show things to each other at the same time, but the conference call is the important part.) Like I said, its not hard work and it can be fun. We are not serious slave drivers and tend to joke around and generally have a good time. I mean, putting on vape meets is fun. Going to vape meets is fun. Planning / promoting them just takes some time.
Our previous secretary, Raider Chic, has resigned due to time commitments to TVN and getting ready to move out of state. So there is an officer position to fill besides the general council members that are needed.
We need folks who can talk. SOMEbody has to tell us when were completely in la-la land. We need folks who can provide insight. We need folks who enjoy vape meets and want to see more of them. We need a wide representation of Hoosier vapers. Quite frankly, we need you.
So, if you would be interested in joining in and helping out send an email to council@hoosiervapers.com and if you would be interested in being the Hoosier Vapers secretary send an email to council@hoosiervapers.com and tell us something about what you bring to the position. If youre willing to do the leg work for to bring a vape meet to your neck of the woods then send an email to council@hoosiervapers.com .
