2 Weeks now totally 'cigarette' free, but I'm spending a bundle on disposables right now. Did purchase a 'blu' at Walgreens, and a 'Premium' starter kit...alas, nothing is lasting long enough! Today I shopped and by checking out these forums I came across a Ego tank (eGo T)...and I purchased it. Please someone with experience tell me I will be happier. Also order 3 10ml bottles of "e-juice"...lol...see...I've been paying attention. Somethings' got to be a longer lasting vape than the orders I've already placed, and although I've been putting out alot for the disposables, it beats "analogs" hands down. See...I have been studying up. So....did I do OK?

Willing to take any constructive advice. Love this change of lifestyle. ;)

thanx!!!!!!!!

I have/had an ego t starter kit, I didn't like the tank system but it works. If you are careful in filling the tanks, and put the new silicone caps on (most starter kits come with them already on the tank now) and don't mess with the tank (twisting) and your leaks should be minimal to none. Always keep your second battery charged just in case your other one dies. But they are way better than any blu cig. Trust me I've had both. Welcome to ECF and congrats on 2 weeks. :)

Congrats on quitting, and you will be fine with the tank system, however there is a cheaper easier way to go. For a new vaper, I always recommend clearomizers. You already have an Ego battery, and these are ideal for this setup. They are the easiest, most reliable device on the market, and they are constantly improving.

Congrats on quitting, I've quit myself, 20 days stongs. I went to Vaperite.com, they opened a new retail store not to far from my home in Georgia. The service was exceptional and they answered all my questions. I ended up getting 2 Ego-C Twist 1000 MaH. I thought it was handy how you can change the voltage to accommodate different attachments. I prefer the Clearomizers as well and really enjoy dual coil cartomizers both should fit your ego-T. Vaperite also has a huge selection of juices, those guys know there stuff and have made it so much easier for me to kick the butts.

You've gone the same way as I did - I got supermarket disposable thingies first, then an Ego T starter kit. I didn't get on with that particular tank system myself, not to say you won't. The Ego battery has been a great starting point for me though. I'd advise the same as Jonner - Boge cartos. Use the easy condom fill method, keep them nicely topped up and you won't go far wrong. I use Boge as my default, safe option. Won't rule out trying other options out in the future though.

I started with the eGo-T (aka. eGo tank system) and already moved to Low Resistance cartomizers and clearomizers (Boge Single Coil, Smoktech Dual Coil) with eGo-C Twist 1000mAh batteries. I have the eGo-T batteries as backups and the charger works with the Twists. All the tanks and the eGo-T atomizers are in the garbage though.

I have a lot of other stuff too, but you will get there when you get there. (Dripping on 510 LR attys on a 3.7V Silver Bullet)

I agree with the others, I have an ego-T, the batteries are great, personally I hated the tank system, but it doesn't cost that much to get some refillable carto's or clearo's and so long as they are 510 connection they will work. Ones like the stardusts are made to fit nicely on the ego batteries, so you may want to look at them too.

The biggest thing is once you get it you are happy with it. If you dislike the tanks there are other options that work with it.

Hi. Welcome to ECF. We're glad you're here.
Yes. I think you did ok.
I have been seriously vaping only about 4 months. I think the most important thing is to continue to stay off the cigs. So far you're doing great. As a newbie I wouldn't want you to get frustrated with your tank leaking or cracking while you're still learning. So I would recommend that you also order some Boge LR 2.0 cartomizers & a drip tip (makes it easy to top off the carto with juice). Cartos are simple & Boges work well with your Ego battery. I like them because they are easy. No leaks & easy to take on the go.
Keep comin back & way to go!

Like you I too started with a 510 starter kit, but the two I ordered were from knightstiks.com (no longer around, I think!) and then southbeachsmoke.com (a decent kit). Once my South Beach carts were dead, I quickly moved to the eGo-T when I bought a starter kit for it. The eGo-T's are better if you buy the LR Type B's. They hold more liquid and offer better flavor than the Type A's. For maximum flavor though, you can't beat Boge 2.0 or SmokeTech Single and Dual coils. They fill easy and perform well. Actually as far as flavor, Dripping is best, but I'm sure you'll work your way there eventually. Congrats on going without analogs so far! I've been off of them for 15 months now and you can do it too!

You did fine. You bought something, and you're vaping.

Next I'd buy a couple of Joyetech eGo-C Twists for $22 each so you can see what variable voltage does for your vape. I have a lot of stuff, but 90% of my vaping is on a Twist with a Smoktech 3.5ml DCT tank fitted with a Boge 2.0 or 3.0 ohm single coil cartomizer, slotted or punched to accomodate the PG/VG ratio of the juice I'm vaping.

I also like the Vivi Nova tank, Cisco spec HH.357 atomizers, the Bulli A2-TM atomizer, the ProVari V2, the Apollo SS VTube, the Smoktech VMax, Reo VV bottom-feeders, and kitty-cats.

Thank you so much to everyone that responded!!! I did some review after reading these posts' and I went ahead and ordered a mega dual coil cartomizer. It does appear that there are indeed reports of "leaking" with the tank system. They are not that expensive (cartomizers) and from most of the reviews, and the undertone here...sounds like I'll be much happier.

Thank you everyone!!!!! Happy vaping

Denny
