Looks like a completely new tank design, not just a metal cover. Wonder how the airflow system works? Maybe it flows between the metal and the plastic? If the plastic cover slips off easily, it may be easier to clean.

Upon closer examination, it appears as if the tank may have a twist-lock design.

This picture looks like the old tank, though.

And close inspection of the new cone doesn't seem to confirm a locking mechanism for the new style tanks - the cone seems unchanged, except for the brushed metal look.

Those squeeze bottles look cool, though - I'd like to grab a few of them.
