Does the cone add any value to the mod, other than aesthetics? I dont even screw mine on...

I am still pretty new to vaping, but have had my ePower a month now. Just a noobie opinion, but I believe that the cone is good. I carry mine in a lanyard around my neck and am not overly cautious with it, nor myself. I think the cone protects the cartomizers from getting knocked about, which could potentially break them. Even worse would be if it took a hard enough hit that it stripped the threads. If I've read correctly, the ePower has fairly shallow or, at least, delicate threads so is prone to cross threading. If that is the case, it seems that stress on the cartos could pull the threads attaching the switch too much.
I have no proof, and am merely speculating here however. Still, since this thing is keeping me away from analogs, I don't risk it.

I just ordered some 5ml capacity dual coils made for the e-power. They are available at VaporJunction if you want to peek at those bad boys. P.S they are having a labor day sale as well. (These dual coils are made specifically for the epower). I don't know if any other vendors are selling the 5ml ones yet!
