DRAG X AUTO SHUT DOWN PROBLEM

Hello,

My drag X Plus is crystal clean. There is not a single dust particular in and out. However it shuts down in every few puffs and it is really disturbing. Instead of going into sleep, mods often shuts down. How do I fix it? Configuration software that I use is 2.0.0.8. My firmware is 2021.01.26 factory version. It started to do this after I upgraded the firmware months ago. Ever since then I am struggling to vape. Please help.

What is the brand and model of the battery(s) you are using?

Which external charger do you use to recharge the battery(s)?

How many watts do you use when vaping?

Which issues did you hope to address by updating the firmware? Did it succeed?

Did you try the TC firmware of 2022/3/2?

Hello I have been using Sony vtc6 batteries. I am using d2 charger. I am using 13-17watts when vaping. I just wanted drag x plus to stop shutting off after taking a few hits. Yes I tried the firmware 2022/3/2, didnt solve the problem

the reason why a voopoo drag X or Drag X Pro turns it self off after a hit or more and even often totally random is that most likely the spot where the battery cap is attached. just open your battery cap and just underneath the battery cap you see a copper gold connector, be sure that part and the part at the bottom of the battery cap it self is clean. just drop some pure 99% cleaning alc on there and move the cap a couple times and clean it. this will most likely fix a auto turn off

I'll definitely try cleaning the copper connector under the battery cap with some alcohol as you suggested. It's good to know something relatively simple might be causing the problem.
