Dovpo riva, DNA 250c throwing sparks!?

I was changing the batteries in my "regulated mod. I thought I had the batteries in the right way, I went to close the door. When the contacts on the door made contact with the battery it made a spark. Like I seen it shot two sparks off it like a car battery when you hook up jumper cables. It surprised me. So, I didn't shut the door. I saw that both one battery wrong way around. My device is working properly now that I turned the battery around. Should I be worried? Has this happened to anyone else?
