Cones for Riva....

I have two Riva's that I ordered from Liberty Flights, both of which I absolutely love. Having recently switched from dripping to using cartomizers (Boge, also from LF), I'm finding that this is my preferred method for now as well.

My question concerns the cone size that comes "standard" with my Riva kit. Both the Riva's that I ordered were the Riva Lite package and while I am very happy with them, I'm finding that the cones are a bit too narrow to easily fit over my cartomizers. I seem to remember reading somewhere (either on these forums or on the LF website) that a slightly larger cone is available for the Riva when using it with a cartomizer? Am I correct? If so, are these available to order? I've looked all over the website but can't seem to find the larger cones available to purchase. Help please, and thanks!

You can order a 901 Riva cone from Liberty Flights; they are shorter and wider on top so they are perfect with cartos.

You can also grab a sheet of sand paper (#220 or so) and sand off ~0.8" of the top of your existing cone.

Also if you are using the cartomizers with the black covering just peel it off and then they fit just great!

Our T-rex cone is a bit wider than the Riva and Ego cones too. Sorta splits the difference between the Ego, and Riva 901 cones. But I use the Riva 901 cone myself. I like that it is shorter.
