Looks like this charger only works for those specific Xtar batteries shown in the pic. If you look at those batteries, it looks like they have a negative ring about 5mm below the top of the battery. That's where the charger connects to negative.

    Just a guess, though.

If I'm right, this isn't well-suited for marketing to vapers because vapers want to the freedom to use the batteries of their choice.

Agreed,if that is the case they are leaving out a huge segment of the vaping community that might use said apparatus (love using that word hehe)

On the other hand i do love the docking like system, not really knowledgeable when it comes to battery chargers so not sure if this is a ''new'' thing or it has been done before.

p.s. can you imagine a future where you just charge your mod (with the battery in it) when you place it on a charging type platform like the ones they have for cellphones?
Would be cool, just keep it on your desk and when you're not vaping it is charging itself.

Aspire made a mod with a charging dock, but it never was very popular. It was called the Pegasus mod. They made a lot of them and there are still charging docks available because no one bought them lol.

Shame,im digging the chrome look on it,getting like a ''steampunk'' kinda vibe from it.

they have an option to promote that type of batteries and make it a standard type :2cool:

Uncle Junkle is so smart! Looks very professional.

Does anyone have some good ideas for the improvement of the vertical battery?

So is that a confirmation that this apparatus is to be used only with those specific Xtar batteries shown in the pic?

So far it was confirmed only that @UncleJunkle is smart and looks professional

Justin, can you provide some more tech details on how is it working, what types of batteries is it compatible with etc.
