BBC News - Smoking e-cigarettes at work ignites row

The editor who wrote the title of the article "Smoking e-cigarettes at work ignites row" either didn't read or didn't care about the sentence in the article "They do not give off smoke and contain no tobacco."

Katherine Devlin's comments were excellent.

Hatchet job.

After statements like

"... Australia, Canada, Denmark, Israel, Singapore and Uruguay they are either banned, heavily regulated, or subject to government health advisories."

And the ridiculous "Potential fire and safety risks have been identified."

"The heating element provides a source of ignition similar to a traditional cigarette which could ignite bedding or clothing."

Biased "...the lack of data on the long-term effects of e-cigarettes and thinks it could give employees the wrong message."

"They are designed to look like smoking so what they do is they renormalise the concept of smoking,"

Anything said by the President of the Electronic Cigarette Industry Trade Association has no chance.

Ms Devlin's remarks were great, though the story does feel a bit one-sided, though I'm probably a little biased. :p

BTW, has anyone tested an atomizer on bedsheets yet to see if it starts a fire? I highly doubt it would, of course, but I'm just curious if a factual study can be pointed to to discredit these types of remarks. :?:

Anti e-cigarette Lies and Propaganda
Really will not prove effective to stop smokers from trying e-cigarettes
Why?
Smokers talk to each other and believe what smokers say.
The movement has always been "word of mouth"
Does it taste like smoke ?
Did it help you quit smoking ?
Which one do you use and where can I get one ?

Vapers tell smokers ANTZ are Lying
and most smokers believe it
