Battery questions????

I use the AW CR123 batteries in my Supermini. These are the ones sold on the GLV website. I see a AW IMR 16340....Is there an advantage to using the IMR? Or is there a better battery available?

Next, I use two AW CR123's in my GLV2. Can a 18650 be used in place of the 2 I'm using now? I have a 5 volt resistor in my GLV2.

I see a lot of choices in batteries....There's AW, AW IMR, AW ICR, AW LIFePO4, IMR HIGH DRAIN, protected, unprotected....

To be perfectly honest, I'm not interested in all the technical aspects of all these batteries. I just want to know if I'm using the BEST batteries I can get.

I understand the GLV2 is a 5 volt. Someone today mentioned that at best it will only hold 4.7 (after a couple days). Is this true?
