Aspire CF VV+ not sure if I have been stooged with a clone.

Purchase price $65 AUD, I think this is a little up there in price but needed it in a hurry.

Why I questioned whether it was a clone:

It says that under a certain voltage button light should be orange - it is not, mine always remains blue.

Battery life is kinda dodgy - or maybe I am wrong. Charged until full last night and used it today on voltages of 3.8 and sometimes 4.3 and for a total of just under 3 hours and batt went flat.

Is this normal? Or should I be seeing better performance?

I haven't used one in a long time, but I remember the lights around the switch would change to red as the battery for close to being dead. I could get a whole day out of mine, but I didn't chain vape then like I do now. I bet now I wouldn't get even three hours off one.

Yeah the light flashes red/orange when batt is about to retire.

Maybe I have been vaping more then I think I have. But it's crazy, because I swear I got more out of my starter kit with a 650mah batt. But again, the batt on my aspire could be taking more on because I am on using high voltages?

Yes, a different coil actually!

I guess all these factors add up, and I most probably have not been cheated with a clone.

I use one of those daily (along with my MVP) for tobacco juice only. I can get a day off of it, but don't chain vape that one usually chain vape with my MVP. I use it around 3.8 or slightly above with a 1.8 coil.

There should also be a scratch code to check the serial number online if your concerned it may be a clone.
