Maybe I got a different point from it than the rest of you, but it didn't seem to be anything but new age mysticism wrapped up in some simplified science to me. Yes, he talked about some stuff that has occasionally freaked me out. I sometimes look at my wedding ring or my hand and think every atom in that was part of a star at one point in the history of the universe. It's both humbling and awe-inspiring, but it isn't a god or gods, it's just physics operating on a time scale I can't wrap my head around.

This seemed much more anti-religion than pro-science, at least to me. He was still talking about "finding god" somewhere in the universe. Personally I'm not looking, because I don't think he's lost. I don't think he was there to begin with.
