yeh , well - it had to be done
its basically four shotty mods jammed together so pretty simple really
it is very very far from finished , a lot more detailed machining to be done
to make it look more like a motor and atm i keep changing my mind about how to do the "sparkplug leads"
it is made to take 8 std 510 atties or carto's
the atties are secured by o rings and a sandwhich plate so are sealed in very well , the mod can be lifted by the top chamber easily without stressing the atties , its very secure
there are also many things on it that i want to do differently but have decided that it would be best to start building another one as it would be easier to just start again
once its fully sorted i have enough photo's to do a step by step on its build up
this was made "on the fly" i wrote nothing down it was just built by chain reaction , i did the cyl blocks for the batts first and then everything else was built around that to suit as it went along, the bellhousing at the back holds the switches which are then activated by a single point being pressed upon them , i intend to build a little gearshifter mechanism offset to oneside behind the head to act as the switch activator
its been on the workbench for ages and i get to when i have the spare time and am in the mood , so it is taking awhile
just thought i would post up where im at with it so far
when i am happy with the way it looks i may even do a vid of it in use
thanks for looking
