I'll take snow to ice any time.
I work from home so travel is no problem. If we lose power I have a generator to keep running if I need to.

We are getting ice right now....and they've predicted a few inches of ice tonight into tomorrow for us. UGH...my normal hour drive will probably take 2 hours tomorrow...or longer.

Unfortunately being in IT we are considered essential personnel most of the time. I've worked in places where even under a state of emergency they wanted us on the roads...ugh.

they totally pushed the "panic" button for no reason on that last storm... we only got about 10 inches of snow with a crusting of ice. big deal. we western new yorkers need a WHOLE LOT more than that to call it a "storm"!!!
