I am completely confounded by yogurt vapes.

Some that I have tried I have immediately fallen in love with. kilo's Kiberry Yogurt and The Schwartz's The Downside are true-to-life renditions that have quickly become a part of my "always-on-hand" list. Liking these so much (they were the first I've tried), I ordered Charlie Noble's yogurt line and they are meh at best (taste nothing like yogurt, honestly).

What are some of your favorites? If any of you have had the 2 I mentioned above and have had others that were comparable in their "realness" I would love to hear about them!

I've actually been looking for a budget one myself...I think it's time to hop off the custard bandwagon - boy is it going to be tough. I tried one last month, can't remember the name of it, but I'll get in touch with my friend and report back. I remember it being somewhat of a granola, blueberry yogurt-type flavor.

I am into yogurts at the moment and have tried a few but am still looking for one that is substantial enough. Most of the ones I've tried keep the yogurt note light and faint on exhale. I am looking for an in-your-face heavy and creamy tangy yogurt that doesn't come across as a diet version. This is vaping after all, no calories to count!

Just today I found another yogurt that's been launched; Streek by Cosmic Fog. Blurb says "The perfect balance of two of natures finest treats combined in a vape that is sweet, savory and creamy while never edging into the dreaded heaviness all vapers fear". I guess I'm in the minority then as I'm seeking that heaviness which so far I haven't found in ANY yogurt juice. Maybe it's easier to produce a light yogurt than a heavy one and the marketing department is making a virtue out of a necessity.

Anyway, I have tried:

FroYo - tried this on 3 different setups going from 6 - 30+ watts, including a sub-ohm setup with 0.5 sub ohm coil and the yogurt note just tasted burnt, smokey or just wrong. Seems like I'm the only one on the planet to think this though, everyone else appears to love it.

The Upside & Downside - The strawberry upside was okay with its faint yogurt taste, but I got the smoked yogurt effect again with the blueberry version.

Kiberry Yogurt - A bit better than The Upside in that the yogurt was slightly more pronounced, however, still too light for me.

Katz Vapez Blueberry Yogurt - Best one so far produced by a local London company. It's still a light vape, and tastes more like a blackcurrant Chewits (British taffy candy) than blueberry yogurt. But the selling point is that compared to other yogurt flavours it is very affordable. 10ml costs $5, 30ml $13, 50ml $21 and 100ml $38! Have vaped about 150mls of this in the last month! (Prices converted from GBP to USD. This is cheap for UK).

On order:

YRGT - Ares, Nyx and the peach one are coming (because of a sale). Am expecting these to be quite subtle and light based on reviews.

Anyone know a heavier fruit yogurt juice? Or do I have to pour some real yogurt into my tank?

It's the diketones that taste good. If you look up the test results on the Vaporshark site, both of the ones you liked have Diacetyl and acetyl propyniol , whereas Charlie Noble tried to make them without diketones ( using Butyric acid instead ).

Yellow Barz from Cereal City Vapes (aka Hometown Vapor). It's a strawberry/banana cereal yogurt bar, and it's tasty. I usually can't do strawberry flavors (either candied or from an "extract" -- it always tastes and smells like wax candles or dirty diapers to me), but Yellow Barz is one of my all day vapes.

I liked Streak by Cosmic Fog but once I tried Kilo's Kiberry Yogurt, Streak was just ruined for me. I still buy it as a strawberry-flavor alternative to my ADVs (Kiberry Yogurt, Unicorn Milk) but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a yogurt-forward flavor.

The Schwartz The Upside was even worse, IMO...all I could taste was whatever strawberry flavor concentrate they decided to use. I'll Vape through the bottle just to get rid of it in between my ADVs.

I have a bottle of Oasis Vape Blue Dot yogurt coming in the mail soon. I'll try it out of the bottle and then let it steep from there. Rocket Man didn't do much for me either, but it is pretty good compared to some others, plus the granola note really smooths it out on the exhale.

I guess I'm alone here. But I thought I would toss my :2c: in anyway.
I personally love yogurt...in real life. I thought a yogurt vape would be incredible!!! Until I tried it. My issue was, vape is warm. Warm yogurt  not so good. MO anyway. Maybe I should try some of these suggestions.

I know what you mean but you could vape it using a coil that doesn't burn so hot, and I believe some yogurt flavours are better suited to coils above 1.0 ohm. I don't mind a warm yogurt vape as long as the juice tastes as its supposed to. That's not the case with ARES, one of my three YGRT juices that arrived today.

ARES is a strawberry yogurt that definitely smells like one when I sniff the open bottle, but tastes nothing like it in my Kanger Subtank Nano with a clean 0.5 ohm coil. What I get between 15-30 watts is like a 'smokey' or 'smoked' fruit yogurt taste, which is similar to my experience with both FroYo and The Downside. It's not un-vapable but I wouldn't call it nice. The juice is pre-steeped, so I'm guessing that's not the problem. None of the reviews have mentioned anything other than it tastes exactly like strawberry Greek yogurt (with a hint of pomegranate) so I'm disappointed as well as confused. Will have to try and dig out a 1.5 ohm coil to see if that produces better results...

Haven't yet tried the other YGRT flavours - Nyx and Apollo but will report back on these later.

An update on the YRGT range:

Ares (strawberry) and Nyx (forest fruits) have the same effect - instead of that unmistakable note on exhale that screams 'I AM TANGY AND YUMMY!', there is an overwhelming smokey (if not burnt) cream effect instead which I find slightly nauseating. And the fruit elements in both are not very distinct either. Apollo (peach) is the opposite. The peach is dominant but the yogurt is less pronounced, making it taste more like peaches and cream than peach and yogurt. On the whole I am disappointed with this range...nothing tastes like it should. I even got out an old Kanger Emow tank with 1.5 ohm head and iTaste battery to try them on - in case they vaped better at low power levels. Unfortunately it was the same, just weaker. So I'm wondering if it's a wattage issue. Do I need to go over 30w and buy a new mod? Or could it be that all three flavours are 'spot on' as many reviewers have said, but that yogurt is the US tastes very different to where I am in the UK?

So the YGRT range joins the other yogurts that I don't get on with - The Downside, FroYo, and also one I forgot to mention earlier: Amethyst by Praxis Vapor. I hope these contain diacetyl and diketones just so I feel better about not liking them.

To folks in the US: Are your supermarket yogurts more creamy than tangy? The US-produced yogurt juices I've tried so far definitely are...and the trend in US reviewers spouting the line "spot on yogurt flavor" seems to be growing (particularly in the annoyance factor!). So am I right in assuming that your yogurts taste completely different to what we get in Europe - where fruit flavored yogurts tend to have a distinctive sour or tangy edge? It would explain why every time I order a yogurt juice after seeing a review that says "spot on yogurt...blah blah" it tastes nothing like a tangy yogurt to me.

Gripe over. Quest for yogurt continues ...

Bluedoe by DripBoy - "Imagine a warm, fresh donut, smothered in a creamy, slightly tangy blueberry yogurt icing. Then imagine that shrunk down into a bottle of eliquid." Mmmm yes it was delicious to imagine but I nearly vomited when I first vaped it. This is a budget donut vape that tastes of raw donut batter and blueberry frosting, but not even a small hint of yogurt.

TaffyMan Gr8pe by Stick-E-Liquid - Okay this is not marketed as a yogurt flavour but it's a lot closer to yogurt than many flavors that are. Grape taffy...fruity and sweet with a creamy and sour edge. Take away the label and you could think this is grape yogurt!

Ohmgurt by Juicy Ohms - "Indulge your senses in the creamy thickness of this berry infused, spot-on yogurt flavor – no spoon required!" Yet again, this is more creamy than tangy but the cream isn't as pronounced as other US yogurt juices. Not bad over 30 watts on a 0.5 ohm coil, but still not quite a distinctive yogurt as far as I'm concerned.
