I'm using the Mistic and its great for me. I'm a noob, of course.

You CAN get the top off. You have to "pick" at it for a min but it will come off. Of course, they're so cheap and last so long, it's nice to not have to go through all the re-filling heart ache. I know it's a labor of love to some but right now this is more efficient and it's only costing me pennies..

I like the taste of the traditional, anyway. Of course, I haven't had anything to compare it to..lol

The Mistic was my first e-cig after disposables. I ran out of disposables in the middle of the night on the way home from work and pulled into the Pilot gas station here, as a last-ditch effort before buying a pack of analogs... And I grabbed one of them. Worked great. (Doesn't hold a candle to a 3.7v mod though) Emergency pack, yes.

I think if you were to look into my past posts, you would find I am not a fan of mini type ecigs, and definetly not a fan of a cheap gas station ecig.

Well, gotta say this: the one I found last weekend is actually quite good.

When I see a decently priced store ecig, I will buy it (under $9) and then tell my friends typically to avoid it. I just never found a good one.

Enter the Mistic.

I am not sure what model the Mistic is, as I am a 510 / eGo guy, but it looks like from the battery and threads its an 808 or something. I just can't tell. Maybe someone can help...

The one battery and one cartridge cost $7. The battery is rechargable. A kit with the recharger is $14. I bought the $7 one first, then realized if this is a mega-cheap 808 as far as the cost goes, bought the $14 kit to have another battery and charger... so $21 invested.

I gotta tell yas, this thing rocks for the price. There is a lot of warm vapor, throat hit... the flavor, like most prefilled, is either OK (menthol) or OK (tradional) ... however it is PG (I prefer VG). The batteries last a long time, the carts last a long time (Still on my first one of hitting it 30 or so times a day for 5 days). I am trying to get the flavor out so I can syringe fill the thing ...

Point is, if you can find one for a friend to try or as a backup, its a great deal. The deal gets even better at that price if you can use 808 cartos on it!

Anyone who knows more about these things, please let me know. Thanks!

was it this .. Mistic eCigs, Electronic Cigarettes, looks like what you are talking about.

Well I broke down and bought one hoping to find something cheap and local. You know what I was pleasantly surprised. It aint the best tasting juice (I got the traditional flavor) but it aint bad. It makes an amazing amount of vapor for a cigarette sized device. The life of the battery and cartomizer remain to be seen but I've been using it for 2-3 hrs now and its not quitting yet. For reference the regular 510 ecigs I started with never lasted longer than that before needing a charge. Just too add some more info too the thread the charger it came with says input: DC 5V output: DC 4.6v 120ma. The manual it came with says the batteries will cut off when they fall below 3.3 volts. I'm very interested in finding out exactly what model this is. After doing some google fu I'm thinking that they might be E-9/kr808d-1 but i have no way to be sure. All in all I wouldn't feel bad recomending this next time I'm asked for something that can be easily found at a local gas station or drugstore. For the price and convenience its really not a bad way to get started vaping. 14.99 got me 1 batt, 2 cartos, and a usb charger. 29.99 will get ya 2 batts, 3 cartos, a usb charger, and a swivel wall charger. They also had a 7.99 kit with a single carto and batt with no charger, not bad to get ya by for a bit in an emergency.

Yes thats the Item.. The one I got from Sams Club was the Mistic 2... 1 batt , 2 cartos and a charger.. was 10.85 with tax.

They do have the 12 packs , 12 batts 24cartos, no chargers for like 60 bucks, at 5 bucks a setup, that my friends, is a bargain !! If I wasn't so heavily invested in the Ego-510 setups, I'd definately buy them for work and stealth, Probably will anyways!!

Just ordered some 808 carts to try with it and the 808-510 & 510 to 808 adapters.just in case. Always trying new toys !!

To reply to an earlier post, the charger green light did come on and the LED went off when it was charged. The tip does come off, and the little plastic O-ring comes out to refill.

Just thought I would bump this up. I'm very interested in finding out exactly what model these are. Also just to be clear is it pretty much the consensus that regular 808 cartos work but just dont fit perfectly ? Either way I ordered some cheap 808 cartos just to check for myself.

I did a YouTube search for any reviews. There was one that showed a close up of the carto threads and it appears to be a KR808D-2/E9 carto. I am hoping to either find one locally or go to Sams Club to check this out. Even for the price of a full kit, with the batteries, cartos and charger, it give a possible lesser expensive alternative to people that have purchased the more expensive E9 kits. It will make it easier if locally sold to obtain compatible replacement parts or to use existing E9 equipment with this unit.

Had three of their batteries and one stopped working. Actually, it never worked from the get-go. Also, the two working ones have "M1107" printed on them at the connector. The one that never worked didn't have anything printed on it. I called their 800 number and they instantly sent me a new battery (that had M1107 on it) and a free carto. Also there was postage for me to return the bad one via FedEx. Excellent customer service.
