I think if you were to look into my past posts, you would find I am not a fan of mini type ecigs, and definetly not a fan of a cheap gas station ecig.

Well, gotta say this: the one I found last weekend is actually quite good.

When I see a decently priced store ecig, I will buy it (under $9) and then tell my friends typically to avoid it. I just never found a good one.

Enter the Mistic.

I am not sure what model the Mistic is, as I am a 510 / eGo guy, but it looks like from the battery and threads its an 808 or something. I just can't tell. Maybe someone can help...

The one battery and one cartridge cost $7. The battery is rechargable. A kit with the recharger is $14. I bought the $7 one first, then realized if this is a mega-cheap 808 as far as the cost goes, bought the $14 kit to have another battery and charger... so $21 invested.

I gotta tell yas, this thing rocks for the price. There is a lot of warm vapor, throat hit... the flavor, like most prefilled, is either OK (menthol) or OK (tradional) ... however it is PG (I prefer VG). The batteries last a long time, the carts last a long time (Still on my first one of hitting it 30 or so times a day for 5 days). I am trying to get the flavor out so I can syringe fill the thing ...

Point is, if you can find one for a friend to try or as a backup, its a great deal. The deal gets even better at that price if you can use 808 cartos on it!

Anyone who knows more about these things, please let me know. Thanks!

The first e-cig that I bought was a nicstick at our tobacco super mart. Those things are pretty awesome for the price. The starter kit costs about $25 with tax and all and comes with 3 carts of menthol or traditional and a USB charger. My upgrade from this was a Riva 510, and other than the INSANE difference of the battery life, the nicstick was not all that much worse. In fact, I chose to use my nicstick's atomizer with my Riva instead of the ones the Riva came with because the nicstick's worked better. Have to say that the battery life sucks. I said that my very first day of vaping when it went dead 3 hours later. Battery life sucks, but everything else works awesome. I would definitely recommend it to any beginning vapers or for somebody looking for a backup when they don't have time to wait. I'll be sure to add the mistic to the list :)

I bought a kit and a spare battery, had to do something when every last 510 atty and carto I had decided to quit in the space of 3 days and cleaning did not fix a one of them. A definite recommend for a pinch situation or an inexpensive entry level e-cig.

They are available at Pilot, TA and Flying J truck stops, and usually, in the USA, one of those is close to you. The traditional flavor tastes like a cheap Marl. knock off and the menthol is definitely menthol but little else so, it's use it, refill it, which works by syringe or condom method quite well.

They are easily available in the US and, at 5 for 4.99 here the cartos are not bad price wise. Now if you or a family member or friend happens to have a fuel bonus card for one of the truck stops, you can use those points/bucks to buy them, thus making them free and, since I can do that, a big plus there. at 2 pennies per gallon on diesel purchases and the truck needing 200 gallons per day, that's enough for cartos every third day, and a five pack lasts longer than that. So for me vaping is now 100% free as the company, buys the diesel and we get the bonus bucks :)

Well, I tried out a V4L carto on one of these batts. Like Puckhead said, fits, works, but with a gap. Both the carto is deeper and the battery threads longer on these things. Still, since an 808 carto will work on it and the batteries seem to be really well made as far as activation and charge life, pretty happy with it. Excellent backup or if you don't want a 1000mah eGo manual while your hands are doing other things.

Thanks. I'm going to try it because I need some excitement. Where did you find it?

I've got 2 packs this week and really like it. V4L cartomizers works perfect. May be someone knows how to properly charge this e-cig? The light always stays "On" on the e-cig and didn't turn green on chargers. I'm using original 808 and 510 w/adapter charges. But the e-cig gets charged for sure. I refill cartos by using "condom" method w/o taking plastic plug and haven't get any spills yet (just don't overfill).

I posted this on another thread too. Sams Club here in Wa. State has started carrying Mistics.
Ok, went to Sam's Club and I bought one to play with... I'm impressed ! It was under 11 bucks, hits quiet and smooth. Lots of vapor. Already topped off with 10 drops, soaked right in.. For a small rechargable kit... 11 bucks well spent.

I pulled off the cap, the filler is almost to the top, but I was still able to push my Ming drip tip on. I'm sitting here typing, and vaping hands free!!! You know, this is kinda nice !!

Sitting here vaping a 10 buck Mistic, and my new gooseneck(got today) and Ego 1000mah PT,with an Ego Booster, w/ a Ressurector, full of Gorilla Juice, and Ming tip is sitting on my desk. Thats funny!! Well, to me it is...
If your curious, I just measured it... 14" LONG vaping machine..lol, its my "at home" device of course.

This would be a great inexpensive "first try" gift for someone you think MAY want to quit smoking. (if you have a Sams close by)

As far as durability... no clue.. yet.

Not affiliated with anyone.. just a guy..good luck all !!

The tip LED on mine stays on too, hasn't been in the charger for more than 2 hrs. So not sure about the charge light going green yet.

I am using the USB charger conected to my PC. It takes around 4 hours to charge them and then the light goes green.

Also, how are any of you 'popping the top' to refill? It seems to be built into the carto ...
