Was this your first experience of the TW 36mg fluid? Or just the fluid in combination with that device?

I use the TW 36mg fluid and I've learnt to not use it excessively. Its very potent stuff. But my experience is the effects pass pretty quickly. I guess its possible that it has triggered a severe migraine. Many years ago I had something similar following taking something else... I had a week of severe migraines and hot and cold flushes, just agony basically.

But I agree with the others, see a doctor, and tell them what you've been using. If nothing else they should be able to prescribe some more effective painkillers than you can get over the counter.

high strength liquid should be for the hardened nicotine addict.. the bottom line being the entire e smoking thing should be treated with caution..

but where do we start.. do we assume the same user knowledge as with alcohol.. do we assume the user might know it aint good to tank down a full bottle of vodka in one go or do we assume he dosnt..

i personally dont think jimmies case is nicotine related.. it is more likely to be a bad reaction to the medium that carries the nicotine.. but as yet we dont know... it could simply be pure coincidence.. people get ill without smoking e cigs..

a visit the doctor might be wise.. the bottom line being u might be suffering from anything..

get better soon jimmy and be careful..

But don't be stupid... see a doctor. The last thing e-smoking needs is a related death.[/quote]

Dude, with all due respect, that comment was a touch insensitive dont you think?? Having said that, I did take on board what you said and got myself to A&E, I have overdosed on nicotine and it is not pretty, very strong painkillers and rest up for a few days and hopefully I will be ok then. The last thing I want to do now or for the forseeable future is smoke an e-cigarette, maybe I will see sense now in giving up altogether.

So, what's the moral of the story?? Well I think it is important going forward to add a sense of caution to the overall tone of information passed onto new members, I am happy to admit that I was a little reckless in what I was doing but I am not a complete idiot either.

This board has a lot going for it and we dont want this happening again!

thanks

Jimmy

I'm glad you got professional medical help, it was sounding pretty serious.

Take care of yourself and if you do smoke again consider using your ecig with lower or zero nic juice. It's a good substitute for smoking but we're all still pretty much uneducated about nicotine potency.

I won't be surprised if 36mg juice kills someone one day, it's twice as potent as juice usually rated as 'high'.

..nah, it was definitely 'nicotine poisoning', they didnt do much excpet take my blood pressure and a few other things, and listen to my story, I can still taste the stuff in my mouth, just horrible, I really cant see myself going back to it, some lucky punter on this forum might have himself a near new screwdriver and a few other bits and pieces for a very good price, we'll see how it goes!!

Just take it easy and enjoy what remains of the weekend - I'm sorry that you had such a horrible experience.

Jimmy,
Sorry to hear that you have had a bad time. You must have gone overboard a bit, especially with the 36mg. Give it a few days and see how you feel then, as Kate said. I was a heavy smoker a few weeks ago and I use 18mg. I recently bought 36mg and had to dilute it with vg, as it made me feel very unwell. I am fine with doing that now. I hope you feel back to normal very soon.

It may be a case that Trog has developed the best e-cig ever for vapour delivery, and the along with what might be the best juice from totaly wicked 36ml might just be 2 good to fast ..... 2 good products that came on the market about the same time that werent meant 2 meet each other..... Jimmy why not try 18ml carts it the screwdriver or 36ml juice in a super mini .... just a thought... and i also wish you well.

Sounds like my first day w/ a 901.
I made the mistake of sitting there puffing away on my new toy w/ 24mg juice. About two hours later, a I had a headache that wouldn't quit! I just put down the e-cig for awhile, and it went away.

Everyones right, its not worth giving up on yet.

What brand cigs do you normally smoke?

If you have overdosed then you wont be the first or last but i personally think it is very unlikely as your body would have told you not to vape anymore.

My body seems to miss that switch that tells you when to stop as i tend to overdose on everything i touch!

Hope you get better soon though jim :)

To add like the above poster was ill recently with a head that felt like a volcano which wasn't nice at all stopping me me vaping for 5 days solid and having attach a patch for safety reasons;)

jimmy... dont rush.. but as long as its undamaged in a weeks time send us it back and we will refund your cash.. give it a few days.. then get in touch..

trog

trog - I appreciate that but its not your problem, if needs be I will sell it to someone here for less then sale value. I think I was just very reckless with it to be honest, a lack of care and information on my part!! I wont give up on it yet though.

..I smoke 30 Silk Cut Purple a day. Ok, given what has happened, if I was to make one more liquid purchase that would give me the happy medium of getting my nicotine fix with minimum chance of any discomfort, what would it be??? I dont know anything about PG or VG or Glycerine..

thanks a lot everyone!

Jimmy

one more thing, I also think the 18MG strength was too strong for me!!
