As I said above I think it’s a pod issue. Dry hits, but when I open the fill hole it floods. Close the fill how, spits a few hits, then a few good hits. Then it starts again with dry hits,

I had an rta do that one time and it was a problem with the pressure in the tank. I simply do not want to invest anymore in it by paying $10 for a replacement pod. I might do it later, but right now I’m to mad at it.... :)

The only thing that varies in my juice is amount of nic. I DIY 50/50 pg/veg with 50mg nic for the Minifit, 25mg for one of my simple EX, 10mg for the other Simple EX and the Wocket. Tried all three in the Wocket all did the same. Even if the Wocket did work it hits so hard the 50mg and 25mg would be way to strong.

Anyway, all strengths produce the same issues in the Wocket. The little Minifit on the other had does exactly what I need it to do. I use the minifit for short outings where I want a few quick puffs, but high nic for satisfaction. I wanted the Wocket (and when it gets here the Frenzy) to join the Simple EX.for lower nic, around the house use.

From what you say, the Wocket has the same MTL issues as the Orchid, i.e. when used (or attempt use) for MTL, the device behaves oddly.
It is hard, but the true conclusion is, there devices are NOT tought for true MTL vaping.
It would be nice if the manufacturers would describe their devices accurately, instead of saying "good at MTL as DTL" as in almost all cases, it is not true.
I believe the problem lies with the fact that true MTL require some accuracy in the manufacture of the components involved with airflow adjustment, like they did with the Frenzy.

In order to get above and behind all the marketing fandango and the buhohaa of reviewers, I will look very carefully at pod airflow from now on.

The top air adjustment, initially developed for the Orion pod, requires an air duct built into the pod, going from the drip tip to the bottom of coil.

The strict manufacturer tolerances required for proper MTL, haven't been achieved yet in a $5 throwaway pod with top airflow adjustment.

Frenzy, Biip and Nautilus AIO all have proper MTL but the adjustment lies at the bottom. Should we make this point very clear across the board, don't we?

I’ll chime in with an update after 2 weeks with the Wocket. 1360 puffs into the 1st coil running Cyclops Colossus 12mg 65/35 exclusively. Airflow at 50% on the ring underneath the coil and closed off completely at the drip tip ring. Although the flavor dropped off a bit after ~800 puffs, it’s still not bad. I’d describe it as going from spectacular to great to decent at ~1200. Started at 10 watts, went up to 11 around the 800 puffs mark. Is it true MTL? It’s loose MTL where I have it set, but it is MTL. Not quite as tight as my Zenith tank with 4 holes open, but not far off.

QC on the coils is a concern. Trying to finish the bottle of juice before I swap coils and rinse the pod out. If this first coil is typical I’ll be delighted. No dry hits, great performance. Even if 1/4 of the coils are bad, this is still an upgrade vs the Orion DNA, where you could get a burnt pod if you looked at it cross eyed. The Wocket isn’t a perfect replacement for a full sized tank, but for me the form factor is worth the trade offs so far. Guess we’ll see if I still feel that way after a few more coils...

Update!

Got another pod for it 4 days ago. Works fine :)

This is not a MTL system. I know reviews say it’s decent, pretty good...etc. But not for me, Frenzy has that spot. But, it is a great restrictive DTL, and I do that maybe 10% of the time.

Really like the top fill, can actually see the juice level, adjustable wattage, small bright screen, and larger fire button. I think my perfect Pod would be the Wocket base, with a top fill not so dark Frenzy pod.

If you are DTL and interested in trying a Pod device, I recommend you give the Wocket a shot.

What is the granularity of power adjustment? Tenths of Watt, half watt, whole Watts?
How the three presets work? It is power boost?
How is battery life?
How the pod is connected mechanically to the device?
Thanks..
It adjusts in one watt increments from 5 to 25 watts. No tenths, halves or anything like that.
Pretty sure there are no presets. if there are, I don't use them.
Battery life is pretty good. I use this device a lot during the day and only charge at night.
Pod is press fit into the body. It is solid and have to push from the side to get it out. No wiggle on mine.

The only things I would add to what Vicman said are:

The 3 mill capacity and top fill are great. So easy to fill.

510 drip tip are another big plus. Don’t see that much on pods.

Though it’s not very popular in these boards, it seems to be selling pretty well, and gets good user reviews on seller sites. I hope it does well so coil availability will be at least a year. I am growing quite fond of the thing. Stupid name, but great device.

I've seen your replies a bit late; I come over this thread to decide if to get a Wocket (what a name! At least, it is not scatologically inspired) or not.

I received an Asvape (sine verbis...) yesterday. Great device, but essentially a DTL device for low nic.

So, same issue here with the Wocket; your replies have been essential for me, as I'm not buying it - because it is another DTL device.

So far, the Frenzy remains uniquely suited for high-nic MTL vaping.

Thanks,

Correct, I would not recommend this for MTL. It is a great pod, better than the Frenzy in many ways, but not for MTL. I don’t mind a bit of restricted DL in my mix, and it is fantastic for that. I’m very tame, only run it at 6 watts, but it delivers. I would gladly buy 1,2-1,6 ohm coils if they came out with them, but I seriously doubt
they will.

Great screen,510 drip tip, top fill, viewable juice level, adjustable wattage, nice fire button all make it a winner. But not for MTL.

i like the look, size n features, unfortunately it doesn't have RBA ..... After pasito, my min requirement for pod is RBA n adjustable wattage cause i love to try out different juice ....
