I believe he's talking about his wording on not liking the mod.Seems to have came off a little strong.
I could understand that. That kind of wording is normal to me so I don't really register it as threatening or taking things too far. With the kind of company I keep this is just everyday stuff. In person, I am sure I come off just as abrasive. I just try to filter myself a bit when posting publicly.
My complaint is with Wismec in general. I've had a couple Wismec products that are junk. My son has had a couple that are also junk. A friend of mine that owns a vape shop quit selling Wismec products because of returns and complaints. He won't even special order Wismec products because they are junk. I don't like wasting my hard earned money and I feel sorry for people that get ripped off by companies that put out garbage and don't care about their customers. There are other companies out there that are just as bad if not worse. If I go into a vape shop that is pushing cheap garbage because it's easy to make a fast buck selling crap like Wismec I'll leave. Zaryk is a good guy and knowledgeable. This post is JUST MY OPINION like all the posts on here from everyone. I have mods and attys from cheap clones to high end products. Yes I have regretted some of my purchases on both ends and everything in between. I can say I've been happy with most of the stuff I have. I also know what I like just by looking at something. I think most experienced vape enthusiasts are the same way.
Fully understandable. I knew wismec was hit and miss with mod designs. A buddy of mine had a problem with a different mod (can't remember the name of it, came out before the gen 3) and it was fairly new. Just a bad design. I personally think the gen 3 was probably one of their better products kind of like their noisy cricket was pretty good.
Funny thing is the number of people that raved at great length on Realeauxs when they launched. No one was calling these junk 2 years ago. They were calling people luddites for not buying one.
Funny how things change.
My Gen 3 still works after six months of daily use.
But.
The Black paint is ruined, the display has become too dim, and the mod is providing much less power to the atomiser than when it was new.
So I retired it.
Junk or not junk dilemma. The general low quality is not limited to Wismec, the middle priced devices are not designed for longevity, so that drop in functionality, or the complete failure altogether, is to be espected in my opinion.
The replacement for the Gen seems of better quality tho.
But.
