► Wismec Reuleaux RX G Mod; First impressions:
Wismec to make its Reuleaux RX G Mod gritty and elegant introduces the Cyberpunk-Fantasy style and design, I really like this realization, my model is black (Beast) the other two colors available are less sober but have an appearance definitely more aggressive. Reuleaux RX G Mod is powered by a 18650 battery, for this reason the dimensions are rather small, with a remarkable ergonomics in the hand and for optimal transport.
► Wismec Reuleaux RX G Mod; Led lights and colors:
The mod features a sturdy zinc alloy outer cage with metalwork made of geometric spaces and round holes, the design is pleasing to the eye and to the touch. The armor incorporates two shiny and transparent elements (one on each side), one of these at the bottom invisibly hosts the "+ and -" adjustment buttons.
When the Fire key is pressed, on one side of one of these glossy and transparent elements the writing "WISMEC" appears on the other side "RX G" appears with correlation to the choice of color of the Led among the 7 available.
In the upper part of the Battery Sleeve (rear area) a decoration appears that resembles a gorilla with a cigar in its mouth, this nice figure will also light up according to the color selected by the user. Other battery sleeves will soon be available with other decorative graphics and will be available for purchase separately. If you want to exaggerate with the lights, you can select the "Loop" function in the menu which will alternate all 7 different colors of the LEDs continuously and until the battery supplies energy. All this wonderful and scenographic lighting undoubtedly involves a shorter duration of the cell charge during the vape, for this reason (intelligently) Wismec offers the possibility to completely deactivate all these LEDs, through the "Off" function present in the menu.
The 0.96-inch color display is bright and fairly readable, it shows the indications according to the selected mode (AST, AI, Watt, Volt, TCR). For the Display, 4 background colors can be selected, while the rest of the lighting by activating "Loop" provides 3 more for a total of 7 colors.
► Wismec Reuleaux RX G Mod; Adjustment buttons:
On the front above the display is the large Fire button with a nice switch-shaped design. The key is sturdy and made of metal. The Fire key is sensitive, precise and free of anomalous movements. Under the Fire key there is a handy knob set on a slider, by sliding the knob up you can lock the Fire key quickly and then safely place the device in the pockets without turning off the Mod. The adjustment keys "+ and - "as I have already mentioned they are invisible and arranged laterally at the bottom, therefore a minimum of" practice "is required to type them correctly; the "+" key is above and the "-" key is below.
► Wismec Reuleaux RX G Mod; Battery compartment:
On the bottom, the lid bears the C E mark, the disposal logo, a serial number and 10 safety vent holes on the outside. The lid opening system is what I personally prefer, quick and easy. It is just a matter of pushing with the thumb by sliding the cover forward, lifting and inserting the 18650 cell, closing after having lowered the cover is done by pressing and sliding the cover back for a solid and safe attachment. The negative "-" is marked on the inside of the lid.
► Wismec Reuleaux RX G Mod; 510 Thread:
At the top of the Mod is the steel cup which is held to the mod by two Torx screws. The cup houses a gold-plated pin. The maximum diameter to install an atomizer without protrusions is 27mm. I find Reuleaux RX G Box Mod particularly suitable for hosting 24 / 25mm MTL tanks or RDL tanks with a maximum diameter of up to 27mm.

• Do not use the battery with a damaged cover
• Make sure you are using 18650 batteries whose current should be over 25A
1. Power On / Off: Press the Fire button 5 times
2. Lock / Unlock the Fire Key: Press the slider knob up to lock and down to unlock the Fire key
3. Set the wattage: Press the "+ or -" buttons to set from 1 to 100W in steps of 1W at a time
4. Vaporizing: Plug the atomizer into the Mod and hold the Fire button
5. Lock / Unlock Adjustment Buttons: In "On" state, press the Fire button 3 times
6. USB-C Port Functions: The USB-C port should be used to reload and update the firmware. Remember that it is always better to remove the batteries and charge the cell through an external charger so as not to unnecessarily tire the circuit.
• When the device is turned on, press the "+ and -" buttons simultaneously to enter the main menu. Press the "+ or -" buttons once or repeatedly to toggle between (1) AST MODE. (2) AI MODE (3) COLOR, (4) PUFF. (5) ID CHECK (6) EXIT. Press the Fire button once to confirm. In the submenus, you can press the +/- adjustment buttons to move or adjust the parameters, press the Fire button to confirm
• AST MODE: When using Reuleaux RX G Tank with the AST mode activated and there is no liquid in the tank, the device stops dispensing automatically and shows the message "EMPTY, REFILL". Thus the VX Coil is protected
• Al MODE: When Al mode is active the device sets the best wattage for the coil based on use. However, you can disable this feature and select the best wattage within a certain range by pressing the +/- buttons. The new wattage will be automatically saved after the next 2 puffs. Then the best wattage will be updated.
• COLOR: There are 4 user interface colors for the display to choose from.
* The "Loop" option indicates that red will be used for the user interface and the LED will alternate continuously to illuminate the external decorations with the 4 colors + 3 available only for the LED lights.
* The "Off" option sets the user interface to red and the LED lights will remain off.
• PUFF: The puffs of the previous 7 days are recorded. You can use the +/- buttons to move and select the day and show the number of Puffs. You can also press the "Reset" button to clear the total puffs.
• ID CHECK: product serial id
• EXIT: Returns to the main menu
► Wismec Reuleaux RX G Mod; Protection indications:
● NO ATOMIZER: The device does not detect any atomizer
● SHORT ATOMIZER: A coil whose resistance is less than 0.05Ω is used
● DEVICE TOO HOT: Short circuit or excessive device temperature
● BATTERY LOCK: If the battery voltage is less than 3.1V.
● BATTERY LOW: If the voltage of the device is less than 2.5V when vaping.
● OVER 10S: Whenever the vape time exceeds 10 seconds, the output stops automatically.
● AST PROTECTION: When AST is active and with the proprietary Tank, the device automatically stops the output and shows "CHARGE PLEASE" on the screen, immediately after detecting the lack of e-liquid inside the tank
● AI FUNCTION: When you connect the atomizer, the resistance and power range of the Coil are automatically set. When the atomizer is detached, "COIL DETACHED?" Will appear.
► Wismec Reuleaux RX G Mod; Final conclusions:
During this test of the Mod, not having the Tank RX G, I could not test the interesting AST mode which together with the Tank RX G and its VX coils allows you to activate the "Dry-Hit" protection, moreover AST would also be able to increase the duration cycle of the resistance up to 2,000 puffs, to generate large clouds of vapor and to maximize the aromatic yield. All this thanks to the super austenitic stainless steel adopted in Wismec's new VX resistances. So I disabled the AST function.
Instead, I kept the Al function enabled, which intelligently identifies the resistance value, proposing to the user a minimum value and a maximum value of WATT for any different coil and remembering their usual setting until the atomizer is changed. You can still disable this feature and select the best wattage within a certain range by pressing the +/- buttons. The new wattage will be automatically saved after the next 2 puffs. Then the best wattage will be updated.
This Mod aesthetically for my taste is a bomb! It is really attractive and also appears robust as well as rather compact as it is powered by a single 18650 cell. About a single cell ... Regarding the "100 Watt" declared by the manufacturer; with a 18650 cell it's an impossible value to achieve, so I think it's more of an advertising factor than anything else. As for me and my way of vaping, the mod works very well even at 50W, I think those who want to vape at higher powers should look for a dual battery Mod. For the rest, we also really like the conformation of the Fire button with a mechanical locking system, really effective and quick. With all the lights activated the Mod looks like a Christmas tree, it's good to play with it a bit or to joke with friends, but it's not good for the battery life which especially in "Loop" mode (all lights on) really becomes limited. Fortunately, it is possible to disable all the LED lights by keeping only the display lighting active. In this case the life of the 18650 battery becomes good. The DC-DC storage converter with an output voltage higher than the input allows the Step-Up even with a semi-discharged battery.
