I've been DYIing my own juices too but my taste buds are changing so much that I don't honestly know if anything I'm mixing up is any good. In the mornings I can't taste anything so I mix up juices that are supercharged with flavor. In the afternoon I begin to taste again so I mix up far less potent concoctions. Then I lose taste again at night and have to have extra supercharged flavors mixed up. So far the only two flavors I can taste all day are a Honeysuckle Champagne and a Raspberry Tahitian Limeaide Champagne but I wouldn't call them all day vapes except for they are the only two I can taste all day.

Raspberry Tahitian Limeade Champagne is one of my concoctions and one of only two that I can taste all day. In fact I'm tooting through the ml's as I type.

Raspberry Tahitian Limeade Champagne Recipe for 3ml 16mg Test Batch (Triple for 10ml)

- 1ml 48mg nic liquid to end up with 16mg nic or replace with your preferred percentage
- 4 drops FA Champagne
- 10 drops FA Tahitian Lime
- 6 drops FA Raspberry
- 1-2 drops Ethyl Maltol or 2-4 drops Stevia or other natural sweetener
- 1ml PG/VG but you can actually add about 1.8ml to fill the bottle

Since the nic juice and flavors are all PG based I like to add a final 1 to 1.5ml VG for more vapor. I think the Tahitian lime adds to the throat hit while at the same time making the vapor feel cooler at the same time it feels warm. It's an odd little mix as the raspberry also tends to sneak up on me at the beginning of the exhale. It's almost like the sensation you get when you smell a pine tree after it rains in the heat of summer's day.

Now I must warn you that I mixed this one a bit heavy so I could taste it all day and I don't know how it would taste to anyone else but you could fiddle with the mix to find what you personally like with the basic ingredients. Since I'm new to this you might find LorAnn's or PA or Capella's flavors more to your liking, I just happened to choose to try FA flavors to try first.

I'm loving the Tahitian Lime from FA it's some potent stuff. It seems to boost the flavors of anything I add it to. I think my problem with tobaccos is that they are too potent for my 3ml test mixes, 1 drop of most tobaccos not enough, 2 drops of most tobaccos way too much. Tobaccos are so far eluding my grasp and I do so need a good tobacco or two in my daily rotation otherwise I'm just vaping fruit pies and mixed drinks.

Many people, me included, have been looking for "THE" tobacco. A lot have given up b/c they can't find one they like or truly tastes like tobacco. I saw a thread the other day about a new flavoring company in Poland called Iawera. A lot of the DIYers are raving about the tobacco flavorings from this company as being the best yet. If you want to take a look, the thread is here.

And BTW, thanks for sharing the Raspberry Tahitian Limeade Champagne Recipe. I don't have the ingredients, but I would like to try it when I order. I was looking for a good lime anyway to experiment with a black licorice/lime blend.

Thanks for reminding me about the Inawera I've read some posts on them but put them in the back of my head. I will say that Dekang Desert Sand really does taste like a stale ashy .... from the bottom of an old ashtray to me and that's about the closest I've come to finding a true tobacco flavor, yummy. One flavor I've come across that really doesn't have much to do with tobacco but spirals me through Virginia's complete tobacco history is Quick Nic's RY4. That juice really brings back the entire history of where I'm from, I can taste the rivers, the ocean, the stages of tobacco as it grows in the fields, the smoke house, the blacksmith shops, the woods, the swamps, the fishing, the crabs, the hams, everything from back home has somehow managed to find its way into Quick Nic's RY4.

Mafig I'm just one of those people who has to know every little detail about what I'm getting into. I was hoping that I could just replace smoking with vaping but there is just so much to learn and get into that I think I'm learning more about vaping than I know about tobacco and I'm from tobacco country in tidewater Virginia where my family has been growing the stuff for centuries.

Shadow102, my family is from the whole Chesapeake Bay region but I grew up with the branch of the family from tidewater Virginia on the James River in Surry and Isle of White Counties across from Jametowne. Heck, one branch of my family was there to greet the other branch back in 1607 when they arrived. So I'm OLD SCHOOL Tobacco. If you want to find a decent emplow but like to live in the country then Surry or Isle of White Counties are fine places to be, but there is still the old race issue that you'll come across even though it is much better then most other places around this country. Colonial Virginia for all its good and bad is still the place where my heart resides. It is where everything that our country has become originated and there is so much do to learn and experience there. For a good time in that part of the country all you need is a friendly attitude and a fine how do you do and people will open up and share things you never thought to know.

And that's why I'm so fond of Quick Nic's RY4 as they've somehow magically managed to bottle colonial Virginia.

I didn't say I comprehended all of this but I'm doing my best to learn. Mahs ohms volts are still foreign terms to me even though I've spent hours and hours trying to comprehend how they work together. I got into the DIY because for some reason I can't taste most juices and I realized if I did it myself I could add tons of flavor, but it only seems to work with non tobacco juices and I've a long way to go before I figure out mixing up tobacco juices that taste good to me. Have you tried Quick Nic Juice's RY4? That's the juice that inspired me to try mixing my own. I don't know how they did it but they managed to bottle all the flavors and smells of where I come from and that makes it my personal favorite juice so far. I just got an Ego Sapphire Bud kit and I am really enjoying the Sapphire Bud cartridges, and these smaller ego 650mah batteries are the perfect size and have great battery life too. I'm really excited about this wonderful new world of e-cigs that has open up to me as well. I smoked for close to 30 years myself, started younger than most because I'm from tobacco country, and one day on the television everything I saw was about e-cigs so I decided to give them a try and two days after my first KR808D-1 kit arrived I was hooked on everything about electronic cigarettes. I don't go to bed thinking that i'm going to stop breathing during the night and I wake up without the headaches and coughing. I'm still waiting on the taste buds to start working again and my sense of smell is really off since I switched over to e-cigs but I'm hoping they'll come back like many here on the ECF have said. So far the most elusive flavor I've been trying to mix up is a good RY4 with a slightly more tobacco taste than most RY4's. I've created two tolerable Ry4's so far but they just aren't good enough for me yet. Tomorrow I shall try a few more recipes I've come up with as my new flavor order arrived today.

Regards to you as well,
Wingapo
