Wicking on rebuilt coils and micro vs nano coils

So I was watching RiP Trippers' Nano Dragon coil video, and he mentioned how the wicking was what made coil put out a ton of vapor, and it made me wonder, what happens if you wick a normal coil like that? or a micro coil even? Would the results be the same or would they be different?

Also, what's the difference between a nano and micro coil? I can't find any information on that at all. I mean, I get you wrap a nano coil on a 20 gauge syringe needle or something similar, and the other is on a 5/64 drill bit or something similar, but what's the difference? Just the size? Or is there some performance differences between the two.

Any information on either questions would be greatly appreciated!
