Hey guys,

I really love the way mechs look i know its not all about looks but for me it def plays a role and mech can be pretty safe if you know ohms law and battery hygene but i was wondering...
Alot of mech lovers also really like the look of them why dont vape companies create tube mods like that but also regulated?
Im suprised we dont see this done already at least i cant find any the only ones i can think of is the provari, vamo, evic but those were back when vaping VW/VV started pretty much, but nothing since then???
Mehh maybe one day or just create more mechs thats good too and only sell to people that know ohms law to avoid those news articles :) and injuries

@The60WattGUY they exist, but they're not as easy to find.

Dicodes comes to mind easily for one manufacturer that does them, but they're by no means cheap.
True but dicodes are really pricey i mean just regular chinese companies lol btw i just got my mechs in today like 30mins ago they still sealed lol also got some some coils got the all in one you mentioned and also picked up .28 dual fused claptons should come out to .14 or bit higher about perfect i think they are 26g*2 + 36g if its too beefy ill just use them on regulated just wanted too try them cuz these are plentyful here almost got the aliens but it was twice the price wanna test these first to see so i got plenty of coils to find out my sweet spot,
But im curious the death rabbit v3 has protuding 510 right online reviewers say its hybrid safe but it doesnt protude as far as my tengu geekvape its non adjustable but still it says safe maybe im paranoid heh
Yes i got 2 of them i couldnt decide between brass and copper so got both ,will set it up tonight and play with it :)

I think Ehpro did a regulated tube mod, but that was a while back now.

But yeah, Dicodes ain't cheap.
Dont get me wrong id love a dicodes but i cant miss 300€ for 1 mod heh are you paying that much for just the chip?
Or is the mod high end all around so threading, tube etc all great quality?

I'd say Dicodes, YiHi and then Evolv are at the top. But probably a tie between YiHi and Evolv non C versions, and Dicodes have Resistitherm wire with a precise and known TCR.

But there's some good performers that are cheap if you can still find them, like the Eleaf Pico Squeeze 2 with Artic Fox firmware.

Mods that are compatible with Arctic Fox can still be found but they are very difficult to find nowadays.

Eleaf still has the Pico Squeeze 2's for sale direct. Do you own one??? I own three.

I have several older mods that I've flashed with Arctic Fox. Have you gotten on with AF???

Dicodes have Resistitherm wire with a precise and known TCR.

Resistherm is not Dicodes wire. They purchase it from Precision Alloys.

And it is nothing special, it's simple basic NiFe30 wire. Which can be purchased in Europe at Zivipf (Germany).

Just curious, have you used Resistherm, NiFe30, wire???

IMO, if you are looking to vape TC then Dicodes chipsets are the best, followed by Evolv DNA chipsets.
That's debatable only because some prefer DNA chipsets over Dicodes chipsets.

I own several DNA mods. They offer an excellent TC vape. Period!!!

Evolv (DNA) created temperature control. They know TC. Nuff said!!!

I also own a Fakirs Mods Illusia-D with a Dicodes BF60 chipset. Dicodes (a German company) knows how to do TC.

Yihi would not even be on my radar for TC vaping. I own a custom made mod that uses a Yihi chip. The quality in TC completely sucks compared to my Dicodes and DNA mods!!!

Hell, FWIW, an old cheap Eleaf Pico 75w flashed with Arctic Fox performs far better in TC than my Yihi.

I would like to know . . . when one makes claims about Yihi chips . . . do they own a Yihi device and have firsthand experience with a Yihi mod running TC???

Dicodes chipsets are not expensive at all. Have a look on Creme de Vape, they sell Dicodes chipsets. They also sell Dicodes mods and accessories.

When you purchase a Dicodes mod you are purchasing a high-end device that is built to German standards. It can't be stated any simpler than that. Their mods are well loved in the vaping community.

Dicodes customer service is well known for taking care of their customers. I know someone on ECF who was recently able to purchase some chipsets directly from Dicodes. He's designing his own mods. He said they were an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Id love a dicodes or dna mod one day and prob will hunt one down i just dont use TC but even then they still very accurate boards i hear

Pay attention to the ECF Classifieds. There is a Dicodes mod listed there currently. Every now and then you will see a Dicodes or DNA mod show up there.

You can Watch the thread, there is a button for that on the top of the page. That way when someone lists something you will get an Alert.

Also if you are on Facebook there are some excellent B/S/T groups where you can find both.
B/S/T = buy/sell/trade. I'm in a few of those groups and have made several purchases.

I know well that they approached another manufacturer for wire @ShowMeTwice, that's how things work in business.

Yihi chipsets are very much overrated!!!

Dicodes and DNA rule the roost with TC vaping. LOL

Not at all compared with the DNA C range chipsets, as someone on the forum did TC mode tests a while back that proved that DNA C was awful.

Non C is still well regarded though and I've no ideas if they've resolved issues with the recently released 100C.
