Most new people when they first buy a kit want anything that looks and feel like a cig because they just don't know any better. When I first started I had never even heard of a mah let alone had one. There is a big learning curve and I believe that the average person has no idea about electronics. The kit from my vapor store gives a couple options for top/bottom coil at a relatively good price. It has a good battery life which is very important although you don't know that to begin with. The people who have decided to try this want it yesterday. There are better prices out there but someone who is new to this just gets frustrated and irate when equip doesn't work and might give up. At least for the first kit they have a basic warranty from a us supplier such as it is.

All great advice, Take the vets words/advice. They know what they are talking about. I have been learning many things in these forums, I have been Vapeing for 1 year. And just thought I had lots of knowledge on vaping until I started reading stuff on here. These guy's/Gal's will put you in the right direction. And save you money. and help you to avoid mistakes that they have made on their journey. Thanks to all. and to the OP. Hope you have as much fun and enjoy vaping as much as I have. It has kind of turned into a hobby for me. And a real learning experience.

From reading hundreds of posts in this forum, the Spinner/Twist Ego VV Tank Combo seems to be the most recommended starter kit.

Why? What specifically makes it better?

Spinner/Twist Ego VV Tank Combo starter kit link:

What's a better starter kit for newbies? Also, please include links.

Thanks

Just over 3 months ago I purchased a kit very similar to that and am still using it. It was recommended by a friend who does not belong to ECF or any other forum that I know of. It was recommended to him and he, in turn, recommended to me. The only difference was he purchased his first kit with non VV sticks, but recommended the VV to me after his own trials.

I am very happy with the setup. My goal was to try and quit analogs again (for the ump-teenth time) and this setup has done it's job better than I could have imagined.

Also ; Most beginners laugh out loud when they see the size of a Vamo/Lava tube etc for the first time !
Also ; Most beginners do not want the hassle of buying batteries, a mod, a charger, a delivery device and juice from different vendors (the best way to get VFM)
Also ; No-one wants to scare off a beginner by making vaping too complicated.
Also ; Ego stylee are pocket friendly (er).
Also ; They make good devices for passing on if someone decides to upgrade.
IMO

The iTaste V3 is the same size as the Twist/Spinner, just as easy to use but just performs better.

The spinner/Vivi combo was recommended to me in January as a direct replacement for cigga-likes. I found that the cigga-likes batteries were just running out too quickly. I was getting through 3 a day at work before i could get to a charger.
I knew that vaping was the way forward for my quitting regime but i needed something to last me all day. The vivi/spinner was recommended to me as a good next step in the vaping world. Now i can see why!
The spinner battery firstly has never let me down, is very simple to use and you can vary the flavour of your vape very easily by use of the spinner. Plus i was getting 12hours out of mine as it was a 1300mah which suited me.I still have a spinner yet and will always have the reliable and simple to use spinner battery.
The Vivi nova. For me there is no other step up from cigga-likes other than this one. It has everything that you need in a tank system. You can get enough juice in it to last you all day. The atomizer heads are dead easy to fit.the whole system is easy to use.And once you get into them they can be extremely cost effective when used as a diy set up.The atomizer for example can be re-coiled for next to nothing and the whole system can be stripped down to it's bare bones and rebuilt again in minutes
As with all systems there are some downsides as well as ups and the Vivi has them too. Mostly to do with the gurgling sound that comes from the drip tip when you get some condensation down the airway, but a good strip down and rebuild is really all that you need to get it up and running again.
The next step for me will be one of the real pro mods in the shape of the vamo or lavatube but i feel ready to tackle the new mod when it arrives thanks to my experience with the spinner/Vivi combo.
I think that's maybe why more experienced vapers recommend this set up. It's basically a great next step from the cigga-like without being to complicated. Hope this helps

I see that everyone is posting great reviews about the vv versus the stick battery, but what is the difference in the two as far as usage? i have two uno vapor 1100 and have begun to vape.... alot.... and my batteries are dying out quicker now than when i first got them but my vaping has also increased.. I am awaiting two smok tech 510/ego threading vv in the mail and am wondering.... what is the difference in the vape that each battery delivers? or is the difference only in the life of the battery?
