I would prefer cigalikes if they worked well. I think a majority of the American public would as well. I have a couple VV3's that I use when I'm going out. I just feel weird carrying some huge mod around. I have a 134 Mini and. ProVari mini that I use in the car, at home, and at work. I honestly feel the Blu model of replaceable prefilled cartos is what most smokers would want, but currently they are underpowered, and have a lot of issues with battery life and dried out cartos. The first company that truly gets the cigalike right is going to take off like wildfire.

The thing about blu ...is that they are actually 510s....the batteries are just reversed polarity...so chargers and batteries arent cross compatable....but 510 atomizers and cartos will work on blu batteries....

*or at least that was the case in the beginning before blu got bought....not sure if that's still the case

I'd never buy a mod, bec... oh Crap, there's one, and another, and another! Oh well, I guess I can't join.

Sent from my LG G2, using Smack-a-talk HD.

Same here! Only using my Evo..oh no, they're in the drawer... Using a mech and rba ever since those evod batteries starting losing charge and eventually died.

Sent from ΣΟΦΙΑ using Atmizoo Roller

For me, smoking and/or vaping has always been about style and taste rather than just a way to get a nic-fix.
I like my e-cigs light, compact, and clean which is why I stick with the KR808D1 stuff. I have some 510 batteries and tanks, but I find them to be bulky and messy. To me, mods are even bulkier and messier. No offense to any serious vapers out there who I am sure will disagree with me, but as far as I've seen, if you use a mod, you have to carry a heavy, bulky piece of equipment around with you, and usually a bottle of juice to boot, whereas a shorty or standard 808 battery and carto can be carried in your pocket or in a small case. If a huge cloud is your thing, a mod is the way to go, but you can get some pretty decent clouds with 808 batteries and small clearomizers if you know the little tricks. The manual batteries tend to produce bigger clouds, but I personally prefer the automatic batteries as I drive a manual transmission and work with my hands, so I need something I can vape on without having to press a button.

This is my first post, and I am still a bit of a vaping noobee, but I would welcome any comments or suggestions. Thanks all!

You are going to be pleased as Cig-A-Likes continue to evolve. Battery life will increase and tank/cartomizers as well. There is nothing wrong with the "Little Boys". I still use them!

A lot of my friends have mods, and I've tried a few, and you certainly get a huge cloud from most of them, but I'm not looking to win any cloud contests, and I personally prefer my V2 EX auto batty with a clearomizer. Its nice and light and I can grip it with my teeth. I have heard Kanger makes rebuildable tanks for 808 thread. (I might try some of those next)

Really, i've looked for one and can't find any. I have a couple V2's that I use at work and would like to find some decent tanks without an adaptor.

Welcome! I am the same! I don't even like my ego sized batteries. I bought an eRoll and the rest was history - I stopped searching for an e-cig device. Now, truth be told, I haven't tried a big mod or anything and I don't particularly like throat hit which is a benefit of the eRoll for me - I can vape a higher pg content and a higher nic content without getting as much as I would with an ego style battery. I'm amazed by the stuff I see here though, but can't imagine myself making much use of it. And even though I said I stopped looking for devises I still shop the halo and mig cig sites wondering if I want one of them. I've also been curious to try the Njoy and the V2 just to see what they are like.

Side note - I talked my dad into the eRoll - 2 PAD smoker and he ordered, got it and really liked it. I totally think in the beginning a cigalike is really helpful especially if part of your addiction is holding the cigarette and puffin away even when you don't want to. He's been pleased thus far.

And I feel like I always sound like an eRoll commercial lol! I was just amazed at close it really is. I want to gran some of the Kr808 batteries though to have on the back end incase.

I currently have a few KR808's, 510 cartomizers, 2 510 auto batteries, and 2 eGos. The eGo stuff is pure hobby stuff to mess around and experiment with. However, anything but the KR808's are fiddly and unreliable. I rarely bother taking anything but the KR808 out with me when I leave home.

The Kanger horizontal coil 808 cartomizers work very well. I can't see where people get the idea that cig-a-likes don't work. Cig-a-like sales are the majority of the market- if they didn't work for most people they wouldn't sell.
