Kayfun Lite Plus? Mini v3? v5? I think I wanna buy a Kayfun tank but have read so many conflicting reviews, I can't decide which Kayfun is best. I like MTL or maybe restricted DL sometimes. I've been using glassomizer/micro-coil tanks for 3 years (rebuilding my coils, 1.2-1.5ohm). I'm ready to go RTA w/ flavor emphasis but would like a recommendation. Should I consider some other RBA/RTA tank? Are some clone brands better than others? Tried the Kanger Protank 4. Too DL for me.

My favorite is the Kayfun lite plus V2 with flat top bell cap shown in my avatar.
Never had a V5 but did have a Mini V3 authentic. If most were like my Mini V3 wouldnt recommend it to my worst enemy.
Could not use 26 gauge Kanthal because the screw heads were too small to trap the leads.
I had to close the Juice flow at night or my Juice was all over the mod snd counter next morning.
My Mini v3 never really had a MTL vape. I could take a restricted Lung hit.
The lite plus V2 can be opened for a restricted Lung y or tightened down to a true MTL experience.
I would say get a Lite Plus V2, abd get an extra Monster V3 base and put that under your Kayfun for those times you want s true Lung hit. the Monster V3 can't be used fof MTL at all
Wouldn't that be a Monster v3 mini base? With the 12x0.5 width? The monster v3 has a bigger chimney width of 13x0.5 and they would need another chimney base.

Look at the bottom of the V3. If it says 528 Customs it wont fit so don't buy it.
The Lite Plus V2 has the best flavor, the least airflow, though.

I went to fasttech and pieced together a kayfun from their individual products(upon recommendation from Two Bears). He knows his stuff. As noted in my previous post, I made the mistake of getting the monster v3 base instead of the monster mini v3 and noted the differences in the chimney sizes. You can get a chimney size to fit the monster v3 base at ft but it is an additional costs you can avoid if you buy the monster mini v3 base. He or I can point you in the right direction at ft if you are inclined to shop at fasttech. If not, there are places on ebay that have them at decent prices.

The little Kayfun in my Avatar came with a Monster Mini V3 base. I paid $5.43 for it at Fasttech. After using it for 9-10 months day in day out i wanted a MTL vape and got the Lite Plus V2 base and been using that for 4-5 months now. With original bellcap.

The barrel for the 528 Customs is 2 mm taller than standard Kayfun barrel too.
No way to use the 528 Monster V3 base in any Kayfun of clone.

The mini v3 was the point at which it was finally done right. Top fill, juice control, no whistling, and you can remove the deck with the tank still full!! Ignore the .0001% who got a bad one or couldn't assemble it correctly. It's been the highest rated one by most of the people I've seen. The mini v3 plus is the same thing, just bigger. I got the v4 and thought it was over-engineered junk. I haven't tried the v5 because I see a lot of conflicting issues with the air flow and frankly I'm so happy with the v3 mini and the v3 mini+ that I actually don't intend to ever buy another tank. I bought cheap clones from fasttech and couldn't be more pleased.
