There's also the Efest LUC 4. It's a workhorse that's extremely popular on ECF. It will also charge all four slots simultaneously at 1A. That's a real plus. Make sure whatever you buy can do the 1A charge on 4 batteries at once.

I also agree with Shawn's recommendation of the Gyrfalcon All44.

Over the last few years I've had a Pila (great but limited to 2 bays), next got an Nitecore i4 (good 4 bay charger but slow). Debated recently between the Efest LUC4 and an Xtar VP4 for a faster charger and chose the VP4 mainly because of the LED screen.

Just for clarification...

... next got an Nitecore i4 (good 4 bay charger but slow). Debated recently between the Efest LUC4 and an Xtar VP4 for a faster charger and chose the VP4 mainly because of the LED screen.

Just like my VC4, the VP4 is limited to 0.5A when using the middle two bays (2&3) and will only 1A charge two cells at a time (bays 1&4).
Of the three traditionally popular charger brands for vapers (Xtar, Efest and Nitecore), to my knowledge only the Efest (Luc 4 and 6) has 4x1A capability... it's why I keep my Luc4. It'll do 2x2A as well, but I've never felt that hurried. ;)
(Appropriate for larger mAh 26650s though.)

A couple three highly regarded other brands (one or two mentioned upthread) have gotten notice the past couple of years as well... I've never looked into their specs, nor the latest models from the regular three, so if the situation has changed I'm all for being corrected.

It's not even often that I go to the Luc for a 4x1A session, but I sure notice it everyday (just about) when I put four cells in the Xtar. :D

eta: Like you, I added the Xtar to the lineup for the pretty display*. Unfortunately, in real world use, it doesn't actually give any additional useful information... and only displays for two channels at a time. Nice charger, but not for the display.

(*Actually, I chose it for the display... but I was shopping for an additional charger, for my AA and AAA NiMh rechargeables. Something the Efests don't do AFAIK.)
