Loose MTL mainly - Zenith and N2 on rotation using their respective sub-ohm coils on Coolfire IV mod wth airflow half open is my usual setup. I tend to not inhale these days but just hold the vape in my mouth for a few seconds then blow it out like a pipe smoker.

Also have old BVC clearomisers on eGo batteries for stealth vaping. And a Kanger Subtank nano when I feel like a change from MTL tanks. The benefit of vaping for so long is having all these options, I can't see me needing to buy anythin new anytime soon!

I'm a DL/restricted DL vaper in TC with SS coils. Lots of different tanks but several are top air which are great for out an about setup without pocket leak worries. I have been getting into squonking, either mech or VW. I'll likely grab a Drone on release so I can bring TC to that as well.

I have been using the vaporesso polar as my adv out and at home but when home also use the pulse x squonk mod and rda. I have the cascade baby on the polar with mesh coils and it just works so well.....i've never fried a coil they just seem to run and run until i feel like changing them because the flavour starts to get iffy. Ostensibly i vape in VW but will try TC especially when I build my mesh pro rda.

Since my start in 2015 my vape has come full circle.
Started with with BVC clearos tight MTL on ego batts. Went thru the subohm, DL and rebuilding stage with Picos and mostlym ego one Mega tanks until it all became more chore than fun.
Recently returned to my VV EGOS with clearos. Seem to have finally settled on a couple Renova Zero Pods. 1 ohm ceramic coils in the pod. 3 different power levels. The 2ml pod and 650mah battery seem to be a perfect match, they both last a full day for me. Does automatic preset TC, no college course necessary. The Zero does come with a very loose slightly restricted DL draw "out of the box" but I managed to find a way to hack it down to a nice tight MTL vape for me.
I think I've finally found my perfect and final level of vape. I call it the K.I.S.A.S.S. level. Keep It Small And Simple Stupid.

That is what pisses me off about so many companies. They make a mod and use TC as a selling point then pair it with a tank that they don't even make TC coils for. It's one of the primary reasons I don't buy "kits" or use tanks with swap in coil heads.

Actually eLeaf is the only company I can think of off the top of my head that makes a TC capable coil head. I will say that one eLeaf head is compatible with a lot of other brand tanks including the SMOK BB and BBB tanks.
Aspire, Uwell, Vaporesso, Smok are just a few that provide tc capable coils.

Out of all their tanks, the only Smok brand TC coil I am aware of was for the old and no longer made TFV-4.
I forgot about Uwell but they don't make mods do they?
I did not know about Aspire.
Are you sure about Vaporesso? I know for their NRG tank the only TC coil is actually the eLeaf branded coil that works in it.

More specifically referring mod and battery functions, such as variable voltage, variable wattage, bypass/direct, constant, TC and the like

...

I've simplified my vaping considerably this past year plus by retiring a lot more of my gear (much of my vape gear was already long retired, now most of it is).
I'm a DL squonk vaper that now days prefers regulated squonk mods ran in VW mode to drive Mesh RDA's with low subohm builds for the nicotine free DIY's I make specifically for my gear combos. My top mods/atty's right now are Dovpo Topsides & Pico Squeeze 2 mods running Digiflavor Mesh Pro RDA's and Wotofo Profile Mesh RDA's. I have multiples of all of them on hand (and still adding more of them). I also sometimes still use some of the Sigelei Fuchai Squonk mods and Vandy Vape Mesh RDA's I have. For mech squonking I use my Drip Tech DS dual battery mods running Goon RDA's; and when out running wee hours of the night errands a couple of Pico Squeeze 1 mods with any of several atty's bought just for them. Bringing up the rear for mech squonking I still use 1-2 of my 5 Reo P67's (rarely) with Psyclone Mods Kryten RDA's and/or Goon RDA's. I also keep 4 Pico 75W TC mods (w/an O-16, GP Dripper Pro and 2 Psyclone Mods Hadaly's); and a couple of Sigelei 213 TC mods with other Krytens, Goons or Mesh RDA's to test run my ever changing DIY's with as I make them. The TC mods are all ran in VW mode as well.

Been vaping about 4 months now, started with MTL and enjoying it so sticking with it. I have a KF Prime on my Kroma A and Dvarw on my Tesla WYE 85W. Use my Breeze 2 for out and about. I usually vape around 12 to 18 Watts, still playing with SS TC, trying to figure out if it's better or not. I have a Doggystyle and Berserker on the way, so far really loving the Dvarw.

PS: Big shout out to vapdivrr He has been a great help with my builds :)

I started MTL 5 years ago or so. Stopped doing that because I couldn't get the feel I needed and the only way to get it was mech mods and RBA's (which scared me). Now I'm full DL everywhere.
Work: FreeMax Mesh Pro on an AEGIS mod
Home: RBA mostly and also a SMOK TFV12 Prince on a Weismec 2 battery mod
Out and about: I either snatch the Freemax or the Prince, whatever is closest to the door honestly because I'm lazy.

MTL, mech/unregulated with simple 0.8 - 1.0 ohm coils --- mostly squonking with Galaxies RDAs, but also use a doggystyle RTA and a berserker RDA for dripping.

I don't want to highjack this thread, but have a quick question. Why would you use a Mech as opposed to a vw mod? I'm under the impression that you have no control when your voltage drops, wouldn't that change the vape flavour all the time?

My vaping style is sort of like me -- different. Subohm coils of .4 to about .8 and 20 to 25 wattage on stainless coils with rba or rta and it's like a combo MTL - DL. In one vape I draw some DL but sort of let the rest go MTL before inhaling --works for me. I vape a lot.

I'm still not yet a connoisseur of vape equipment. I finally just gave away my kbox nanos and tootle puffer stuff since I have not used that stuff in years but served me well. Still mostly Kanger - a mini 75 w box, a mini 50 w box, a mini c box, a red kbox 120 watt, 3 neboxes (2 put away unused) that I use when I am out because it holds 10ml (I love that thing - others say it leaks - mine does not), a purple vaporesso trigger gun shaped mod (couldn't resist) and a 3 battery istick 200 watt that I use at home. My goal is to find a really nice and durable DNA 75 box that I like. Kind of am interested in a billet box or a colorful lost vape one. Tanks - the STM, protank4, Griffin 25 RTA which I like a lot -- and I only use RTA's or RBA's. No more premade coils although I have a smallish stash of back-up for the kangers. I have other tanks that I never used like the mini c tank a smok tank and a few others. I'd like to find a RTA that has a 7ml or larger tank capacity that does not go through a ton of juice.

Slow and steady.
