I wanna buy a low power and safe box mod these days.My friend Tobby suggest me can try istick 20w mod.

Welcome! Yup. What Susan-S said. Istick-30. They made improvements. over the 20. The threads on my 20 eventually stripped and was rendered useless. The 30 has smooth stainless steel threads and is spring loaded. The power is better and the design is more solid, while still being small. I have 2, and I've bought my friends these as new vapers and they like it. You will too

The kits are between 30-35 bucks.

I have the 30w, love it. No problems whatsoever. Mount Baker Vapor has them. Or you can buy them directly from eleaf. IMG_20150930_224350.jpg

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
I wouldn't touch anything made by Eleaf , they have treated their customers as bad as any company possibly could treat their customers . They will absolutely refuse to warrant their products even if it has a legit defect . They are more stories of them crapping out after a few weeks than any other mod out there.

Of course there are also some decent ones that have been going strong for quite some time but there are much better and more reliable mods out there now for the same or similar price point .

Their biggest advantage is being CHEAP , if you want cheap Eleaf is hard to beat . Even Phil Busardo said the quality between companies like Innokin and Eleaf couldn't be further apart in their philosophy's , Innokin and some others like Sigelei put out superbly engineered and high quality mods and Eleaf loves to flood the market with affordable mediocre quality mods .

When you make quality stuff you tend to stand by your products , Innokin and other companies tend to do that , Eleaf has come up with every excuse in the book not to .

I have several iStick 20w and 30w. Go with the 30w. As others have said it does not have the problems of the 20w. I have found it to be very dependable. Darn near bulletproof.

Eleaf Batteries : Rocky Mountain Vapor, The Mountain top of Electronic Cigarettes

Rocky Mountain Vapor is very dependable. I order during the wee hours of the morning. It is ready to ship by noon or mid afternoon at the latest.
Sweet Vapes and Mt. Baker Vapor are also good.

Every VAPERS preferred vaping experience evolves over time.

I would recommend you get one of these mods.

IPV D2
Evic VTC Mini
Koopor Mini enter contest you may win one
Istick60tc
Subox
Possibly the Cloupor Mini Plus

All of these are capable of lasting you a long time. The highest I have ever needed was 40 watts and I have been vaping a long time.

I like the ones with external batteries so if a battery fails your mod doesn't die unless the battery vents and ruins your mod with battery acid.

The Istick 20 and 30 are good mods. I think it is better to get a good mod that gives you room to grow into instead of a weak mod that is under powered and you have to spend more money to get the mod you should have gotten in the first place

I have an istick 20w, and while it has been ok, it has its issues. The charging port on the bottom is very inconvenient. The top and bottom of mine are loose. I have always used it with a 510 ego adapter for fear of stripping the threads on the 510 connector. Seems like the wattage and the resistance readings are off. Also, sometimes when you hit the button, it doesn't fire and you have to hit it again. Don't get me wrong, it works, but the little issues are annoying at times.

My 30w is about 8 months old. It's good.
I have a Sigelei 30w and a mini Cloupor too. They are good too.

Luckily, nothing (much) has broken on me in the past year.

My history prior to that was with Joyetech, and they were no better than eleaf for the same reason @herb points out. We will see if things have changed as Evic minis are starting to break down just as the Evic VT did (in the UK).
My vaping friend from AAEC had his $100 mod go down yesterday after just over 120 days.

It's tough to choose. The 30w is better than the 20w. Neither are exactly long-term purchases... that's why I'm backed up with other brands.

Worst case, I have mechs. Next year (2016 TPD EU), I might need mechs.

I agree with the others that the 30w is better than the 20w. However at the price point of the 30w floating around $30 I would suggest spending $10-20 more to get a LOT more. The istick 30w does not have temperature control, and while you might not want or need that now it is nice to have down the road.

I present the following for your consideration.

The one I bought after a couple of months of scouring reviews:

Wismec Presa 75w TC
So small you can hide it in you hand (minus tank), VERY comfortable, surprisingly heavy and solid. Dead Sexy (IMHO)
Fire button leans into the mod like this \ so squeeze and vape, left or right handed front back it does not matter
Aside from front fire panel button, 2 other buttons at lower front of mod

TC-Ni/TC-Ti/TC-SS/VW/Bypass Mode

USB port just below the 2 front panel buttons for BOTH charging and updates. This allows you to charge it while it stands upright with a tank attached.

Rear battery cover is taco shaped verses flat panels in mods above. Has just a slight up/down wiggle with accompanying dink / donk sound when physically moved. Cover will not move when shaken. I could not get it to fly off even picking up the mod by the cover and trying to shake the mod off the cover even with a tank attached, very strong magnets.

$39.99 base, $44.99 with shipping from angelcigs as they were about the only ones I found with it in stock when I ordered it. (china company, shipped from a ware house in California, and I had to use paypal as a lot of american CC's auto deny anything china based even though they have a USA location that most items ship from. ) Arrived in 4 days.
Comes in Silver or Black.
Comes with a 510 to EGO adapter, USB charging/update cable.

i started vaping with an Elief 30 it broke down (510 pin got stuck and wouldn't fire the tank) in the first two weeks. I call them and they said it was a known issue and asked me to take it back to the store for warranty. i did but the store had a two day return policy and would not help me. so i called them back and they said they would also not help me. I would agree with others on here and say that you should get something a bit more quality. I went from that 30 to an IPV D2 and i love it. i have dropped it (even in the toiler once) and it looks like crap now... but it still works. spend some more $$$ and get something that will last. IPV, Innokin, SMOK, Wismec, sigili and tesla all have good options out there. Try a site like fasttech for good deals if you can wait. Go to your local store and sit down with the vape specialist and they more than likely set you up with a good mod.
