What's up with these batteries

In my experience with Ego class, about 1.5ohms is the limit they can handle. Some might not read resistance and just fire, a very unsafe Ego IMO, but on average 1.5ohms is the limit or the other limit 2.5 to 3amp limit, however the Ego is designed circuit wise to protect itself from overload. Go over that limit it will not fire and give an error code in the light, staying on for 5 to 10 seconds after trying to fire, generally that is the low resistance or shorted atomizer error code.

+1 on what @IMFire3605 says. Clone eGo style batteries have been known to try and fire anything you put on them. VERY UNSAFE when you exceed the amp limitation of the battery.

If you want to use rda's (and build lower than 1.5Ω) or use stock coils that are lower than 1.5Ω get a different battery.
