My mother-in-law's sister had a stroke a couple of years back. She had a long recovery and had to re-learn how to do many things, such as walking. Her motor skills are still very poor. She is very interested in using an e-cig as an alternative to smoking, and wanted to have a suggestion on starting up, however, I know that she would not be able to use tanks and bottles of e-juice very well. I guess the best thing for her would be pre-filled cartos? Or something, perhaps, like Blu (but hopefully cheaper)
I dont know too much about those, perhaps someone here started off with those and can give me some recommendations on which ones you may have liked before you upgraded? She is a pretty heavy smoker, I am not sure how much she smokes but I know that every time I see her she has some generic cig in her hand. Also would like to find something that is not too badly priced for her.
Thank you very much in advance for sharing your experience.

I would assume that if she wanted to use something that wasn't too expensive, then it would be best to avoid prefilled cartos. If she lives with someone or someone visits her weekly, then I would have her order something with a long lasting battery and get some 1.5 ml - 2 ml clearimizers. Then the person living with her/visiting can fill up 5 of them or so. I bet they would last her all week. Then the following week that person could refill them for her.

Prefilled cartos definitely sound like a good idea (and since you mentioned Blu, they're really pretty good -- the new ones that don't leak, anyway, and they're at most Walgreens these days), though I'd probably go for a different battery for a heavy smoker; maybe one of the high-capacity Egos.

Thank you. i will see if she has anyone else coming into her home who can help her. She has a live in companion, but he is rather primitive (for lack of a better term) and I am not sure he would want to do that for her, but it is a possible option. i will also give her the link to Blu, then, and see if that appeals to her at all.

I would suggest a Volt kit from SmokelessImage or a MaxxFusion kit from Bloog. Both have good flavors for their prefilled cartos, and are well priced. Look around for coupon codes for Bloog, but the code at SmokelessImage is "VOLTSAVE" for 16% off.

*EDIT* There is a nice Bloog kit in the classifieds for $25 shipped. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...us-fs-bloog-max-fusion-set-pcc-brand-new.html Just add some prefilled cartos, and you are ready to go. :)

ego and clearomizers. 1100mah batteries so she does not run into issues. possibly even a passthrough if she uses the computer at all.

While the idea of someone helping her fill her clearos is a good idea. She should in all reality, learn to do it herself. Forgive me for being blunt when i say this, shes not retarted she is injured. treat her with respect, im sure she will pick up on it fairly easily. Many many stroke survivors lean to do a great many nimble tasks. Just will take time and patience to know shes ok with doing it.

Good luck, nice job getting her off the cancer sticks!
