Ok so me and hubby opened a Halloween costume store right after labour day. We also have a locked display room full of I ain't gonna say on here in case I'm not allowed.. lol anyways it has 3 windows and the middle window I use to display the ecig kits I decided to start selling because hubby has been spreading the word about me vaping and now a bunch of peeps wanted to try it so anyways I sell them for locals only.
So yesterday business as usual until 2 older gentlemen walked in my store and right off the bat they reminded me of 2 old friends hangning out just like the movie Grumpy old men.. lol They were hillarious. The kind of grampas that always makes you laugh and always in good spirit.
First thing I say is "just holler if you need help" and the one replied "Sure but this one he's beyond help" pointing at his partner.. lol
A few min later the funny one came to my counter flashing his badge saying I am so and so from The Canadian Health tobacco enforcement Agency or something like that.. my brain kind of went somewhere else the second he said that..lol all I was thinking about was
oooh noo! they gonna take my stuff away.. lol
So he asked "Do you sell tobacco" I said nope, then he asked do you sell those ecigarettes thing,, I said yep and pointed to my display window which is in plain view to anyone walking in the store. Both went to the window and were amazed that they even make a pipe now.. lol they did asked question about how long they lasted, liquids and blah blah blah. Not once have they asked if I sold the nic liquid or anything of the sort. and then they started making jokes again and left saying ok all good.
A reputable source told me that if they would of had a problem with it they would of said something right then and there about it. and today I also found out our Canadian Tire is now selling the disposable ones
and our local max sells them with nic too. Makes me wonder what is up.. did the gov finally give up giving us a hard time and decided to get on board.
But I am glad all went well and my kits are safe.. for now..lol
