i recently purchased a Innokin ITaste MVP 3.0 3800mAh 30W Box mod/Power Bank - $40

I have only had experience with the KangerTech EVOD VV(for a year and the battery seems to be dying)I am new to the sub-ohm world and do not have enoug hskill to move on to the buildables. so i figure i move it up a notch with a 30watter. what is the correct/proper tank to use?

the specs say it will maintain resisance as low as 0.4ohms. I understand that i will not be able to use the new Aspire Atlantis 2.0 as that is 0.3 ohms. WOuld the first one be ok to use with this? should i get the nautilus? the kanger subtank?

The mini Nautilus is a great tank if you are a MTL (mouth-to-lung) inhaler. Doesn't work as good if you are a direct lung inhaler.

The Kanger mini subtank can work well for both type of inhalers. The Atlantis works better for direct lung hits as most MTL inhaler report it's too airy. I use my Atlantis wide open at around 40-45 watts.

Innokin also has come out with their new iSub tank.

I use the Atlantis on my mvp 3.0 with cotton coils and the 5 ml tank( a must have imo since it burns a lot of juice) good flavor and with max vg nice clouds.

I am a huge fan of the Kanger Subtank. it vapes great with the .5 ohm coils and, like other posters have said, if you decide you want to build your own coils it comes with a deck. If you're into building your own coils, the Orchid V6 is godly. It has a four post deck, so it's easier to do dual and custom coil builds and it works fantastically on my MVP 3.0

depends entirely on your vaping habits. To properly answer that we'd need much more info.
What resistance coils do you prefer? any experience with subohming? ever tried subbing?
What pg/vg ratio of juice do you prefer? Is size a concern?
Just an fyi, if you don't subohm but are considering it, if your on a budget, don't bother. You'll easily use 3-5x more juice when subbing as you would when using a standard resistance coil.

OK i mean budget isnt really an issue- its still cheaper than cigarettes right? i want a lot of smoke but also some throat hit- i tried the vaping rabbit 99% VG and it just lacks the throat hit it feels like im smoking air... is there a tank that can use both sub-ohm and like 1ohm coils. any good sites out there? is there a deal/coupon section of the forum?

The throat hit depends on the PG/VG ratio, but also on the concentration of nicotine in your juice. As far as coil resistance goes, it depends more on the mod than the tank you're using. More watts basically means it can handle lower ohms. Again, I'd recommend the subtank. It has great airflow options, so if you want clouds, use the .5 ohm coils with it wide open. If you want more throat hit, try closing off the airflow or use the 1.2 ohm coils. All in all, the tank is quite versitile.

I would advise against an Atlantis on the MVP 3.0. I have one and a few things I don't like about it are a cooler hit and not enough flavor or vapor. And this is with voltage or wattage set to max. Someone told me the Atlantis shines best at about 35-40 watts. I tend to agree with them. I hear the Kanger sub tank requires less wattage to perform well and it favors flavor versus cloud but it should still produce good vapor. Again, this is what was told to me.

Either way, good luck!

eesti, that's where your going to run into an issue.. everyone wants a ton of vapor, but the most throathit and flavor..but you can't have it that way..
VG gives you dense vapor, but doesn't carry flavor well and doesn't give throathit..
PG gives throathit and carries flavor well, but does not give dense vapor..

either way, they both make pretty much the same amount of vapor..it's just that VG makes it more visible..so do you want to make a ton of thick white vapor to look at or show people..or do you want more flavor and throathit?

finding the right combination will be the challenge.. Im a flavor junky..i use 70%pg 30%vg the majority of the day because i sort of have to stealthvape at the office.. once im on the car or at home I can use high VG juices.. but, there is now ay i could use max VG juices all day..they just lack the flavor and TH i need..I've tried it..i just can sit down and go through a 15ml bottle in a cpl hours.. no bueno..

try out different ratios of juice..keep one thing the same tho..the brand and flavor for instance..
try a 60%pg, 50/50, 40pg/60vg, 70vg/30pg etc until you find what you prefer..

Not everyone enjoys vaping with sub-ohm coils, so don't feel pressured to try it. The vast majority of vapers are Tootle Puffers (low voltage/wattage, standard/high ohms).
