eLeaf iStick 50w is an inexpensive regulated device that should have a lot of room for you to tinker. They clock in at around $60. I'm personally using an Innokin iTaste MVP 3 that's about the same price but only goes up to 30 watts. Some of the new tanks that can run a factory made coil also have the option of a rebuildable section on top of the straight up RTAs out there. There's a ton on youtube videos covering the majority of these devices. Poke around and go with what you feel you'd like.

For large vapor production most people use a subohm tank like the Atlantis, Subtank, Delta II, etc or a rebuildable dripping atomizer (RDA). If you're newer to vaping a variable wattage mod with 40-50+ watts would be recommended as these atomizers take more power to produce more vapor. Finally, you'll probably want an eliquid that's 70% or more VG to give you the best vapor production. Also make sure you get a lower nicotine eliquid than normal or it will be too strong, many people use 3-6mg/ml for this type of vaping.

I have been vaping mech mods w/ RBA/RDAs until recently. My most current vv/vw mods are the eGrip and the IPV mini 2.

I loved the egrip for it's form factor, but it broke on me a few weeks outside of their 90 day warranty. USB connector broke.

As far as the IPV mini 2 (70W), i really like it. It feels solid, and since I used mostly mechanical mods, I have plenty of 18650 batteries that I can swap into the IPV mini 2. You can USB charge it if you choose to.

I was on the fence with the eLeaf iStick 50W. The thing that turned me off the iStick is the part that actually broke on my eGrip... The micro USB connector. This is the piece that broke on my egrip and rendered it useless. Since that's the only way to charge the iStick, I didn't want to risk a repeat.

When I was shopping, I found online deals for both the iStick and the IPV mini 2.
iStick ~ $30-$40
IPV mini 2 ~ $50 - $60

For the tanks, I have been using the Aspire Atlantis, and just recently ordered the Kanger Sub Tank mini. Both are around $30-$40

My 1st mod was the original iTaste MVP when it first came out. It charges with micro usb only. It's still works flawlessly, so maybe my egrip was a fluke occurrence with the center post of the micro usb becoming unsoldered.

I want a rebuilable tank atomizer that blows really big clouds of smoke. I also want a battery with variable voltage and wattage that is good. Im willing to spend $150 max on this ecig! What should I get???
P.s I have a Nzonic mechanical mod rn and a billow RTA tank by Eciggity and EhPro.

what kind of builds do you make now?

you would be surprised at how much of a different experience you can achieve without buying a million devices, mods, and atomizers.

do you have an ohm meter? i suggest playing around with your builds to see if that helps you find what you are looking for.

even with the craziest wide open RDA's and some 2 year old pinhole device, performance will rely heavily on what kind of build you put in there.

What's best will be subjective. Tank-wise, you'll be looking for something with a short chimney (Lemo Drop, Goblin, ect.) to give you the best vapor production and flavor. Mod-wise, something with a good amount of power will do. A mod topping out between 50-100 watts would be your best bet since that range of power will give you room to experiment. Mechs are another option as well.

If you really want to blow some serious clouds... Rebuildable drippers are what you want to look at. Mutation X V2/V3's and Dark Horses seem to be the crowd favorites.

Reosmods Reo grand bottom fed mod made out of strong aircraft aluminum made in the USA built like a tank to last!

Skip the my tank is not wicking or the hassle of caring bottles of juice around or dripping and driving.

Slap a chalice lll on it for best flavor or a Rouge or
Derringer from praxis vapors and make your own coils at .8 - 1ohm and take a hit and tell me how ya like it? Though i Iike dual coils at .5 ohms (double 1ohm coils).

Of course there's the few that go down to .2 ohms living on the edge. I'd stay away from that.
